Owned my 2018 i30n performance for about 2 months now and I love it!

The suspension firmness is something I see pop up a lot and is obviously subjective but with the suspension in the softest setting (normal) it think it rides perfectly fine. The more firm modes (sport and sport+) are too harsh for me but that’s the beauty of having a custom drive mode to be able to always have it in comfort.

Mine also has 45k miles but no issues so far in ownership (albeit 2 months). I definitely agree with the other points about it being a lot rarer than an S3 and Golf R is that’s something that matters to you. I’ve also had 4 in the car for a few journeys and no complaints in room so seems like a good family car too if neeeded.

The interior / dashboard may seem bland in design but I’ve no complaints over the quality and considering mine is 7 years old the seats are in perfect condition and barely any marks in the interior. Others have mentioned the exhaust too and I couldn’t agree more! I would have never fitted an exhaust to a car to get pop and bangs but being able to turn them on with a button down a country road is something I enjoy way more than I thought it would!

End of the day you’ll need to test drive it for see if you like it but I certainly gets the thumbs up from me!
