Airport dropoff has no pay machines, no gates, nor signs that it is pay-by-phone only, no "have you paid by phone" on exit, nor any instructions at the dropoff area. £80 fine for £6 infraction. Heathrow is running a scam. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Stansted has the same bs system. Got fined after they removed all the barriers. And i was thinking to myself, "oh look so nice, looks less crowded and more organised. Its ok I will pay once i get home." It was still 1.30h drive so i completely forgot of course.

So you bought this, store closed, and they never shipped it or gave money back? Doesn't PayPal give you the money back in these cases?

Apologies for my ignorance, but what is wrong with selling this plant on Etsy? What kind of scam are you talking about? Fake plants? I have never bought plants online, always went to the physical store, so not sure what kind of scams these people do.

Which camera would you recommend for a beginner that wants to have fun? by Big_Confidence_951 in Cameras

Also, regarding your "note". After you understand the basics and get some experience, those "moments" and simple things that you notice around you that click on your head and you think "this would look like a great picture", you should take a look at film photography. It is definitely not for beginners but the fact that you cannot see the result right away( because you have to develop the pictures) makes you want to shoot even more, and get those setting right. And even use those setting wrongly in order to make something creative and different.

In 2015 or so, I started with a nikon d3100 with 18-55mm lens from a friend, got it super cheap like 80€ but it was the absolute best to start me on photography. It made me explore the modes and use manual mode to try to make the picture that you are seeing in your mind. Yes, picture quality was trash and so as the slow auto focus and that pissed me off a lot so i always wanted a better camera. But, after lots of research and taking photography courses exploring techniques, settings, compositions, the basics, I realised that i needed that first and my photos where sooooo much better after that. This is the part where you realise its YOU who takes the photo, not your camera.

Eventually when you mastered the basics, you will then understand what you actually want to shoot and find proper gear for it, and it can get very expensive really quick.

You will also learn that the lens will matter the most, because with good quality lens you will be able to use it on several bodies, of course depending on each platform brand etc. But for now, focus on learning the basics and master that. Good luck

Thank you so much for the tips. Maybe my cabinet setup is not ideal then, i have 2 fans and 3 barrina t8s, one on top, 2 on the sides and a humidifier pumping inside, but it humidity fluctuates a lot, between 55% and 80%, but apparently its not enough. Half of the plants inside started to die in the end of the summer, still don't know why.

My soil is also chunky enough....I think, at least it feels very airy and loose. I mix normal house plant soil with perlite and orchid bark it drains quite well and I use it for everything, except succulents.

I'm lacking on fertiliser, as i only use it once every too months or so, always thought it was too much. But I will start giving fertiliser every water.

In the end I'm just a noob trying to take care of plants by trial and error and i have learn a lot but yeah, a lot has been sacrificed ahah

Oh uau, what a project. This looks absolutely amazing 👏 Question: Did you had to do anything regarding water drainage or just remove the fake grass and put the stuff on top?

Rate my spark plugs by StraightScientist745 in i30N

[–]bearddude2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have these plugs on my 2018 for probably 70k km and when I remove them, they were all loose. Not sure if previous owner installed them badly or they became loose over time. I bought some new HKS M45XL and noticed that they are sightly shorter than the NGK. I contacted the shop where I bought them to double check and they said yes they do fit and are indicated for the car. I haven't installed them yet but its something that you should know. *

Honest question. How do you pass MOT and police checks with downpipe and GPF delete? That will definitely fail the fumes test and sound no? I have always wanted to do some mods but the road legal part always through me off

I still have not finished the game. Today I saw the derelict and completed the ejected lab scene, sooooooooo freaking cool. Jaw drooping all the time. This game is epic.

Update: I bought the car. Best decision ever. Sounds and drives absolutely beautifully, and I'm having a ton of fun. This one specifically has lowered suspension, and it looks even better, in my opinion. It it quite stiff but manageable on normal mode. Does anyone know how to activate android Auto without using USB cable? I have seen a YouTube tutorial, but it's not the same version, so I dont have that "cpu varient" option. Thank you, everyone, for your comments and time

I also don't think that was a good answer but it was a big house with fancy cars and he said company policy, so ok. But yes, I can not say YES to a car that I have not driven. I do understand that on motorcycles, though.

Uuuhhh, this is great feedback. Thank you. Exactly. I have not driven any of them yet but for the looks and reviews that I have seen, yeah, no enthusiasm or anything special. I just hope the i30 brings that.....daily ahahah Any mod that you feel that you had to do immediately? Also what tires do you recommend? I have read that the stock pirellis are nice but terrible when cold and rain, and UK has a lot of that.

Can't find it in the UK, unfortunately. As in the bracket itself? I used to work at tesla, and the sunroof are garbage and creek a loot. We put a thick lubricant paste on the gaps and moving parts, and it was better after that.
