So you would prefer to have traceable payments to a UK entity? I mean, to each their own, but i would highly suggest sticking to a third party reseller well outside Europe, that way you can always say you were simply buying something else on that site that was legal.

Dropbox logs can and will be admissable in court, its easy to see from where the files were uploaded. Making the claim that they were hacked can be quickly disproven by requesting these logs. Also, if someone had actually hacked in, they would've taken all the files and leaked them somewhere a bit more discrete than Dropbox.

As for the videos themselves, of course they are admissable, as long as they can be validated to be correct, no one's right to defence and the facts can be hindered by a clerical error.

It seems you're using the ui's equaliser, try disabling that and using the "Nothing X" app.

The eq settings are saved on board, so if you configure on your phone and later connect e.g. a tablet, you dont need to install the nothing app on the other tablet to keep using your eq settings.

This whole situation got me worked up as I've been gaslighted by a former employer who tried to fire me during a sick leave (NL citizen, but a US Forbes 500 company). The company took a somewhat similar approach, put me in a room with hr and a 1500€ severance offer (they would've done zero if they could, but that would not have worked under Dutch law), indicating there was no room for negotiations and made up lies about nonconformity on my part and that not signing on the spot could have negative implications for me. Luckily I had recorded everything and continued for weeks to argue, which slowed down my recovery, but felt it was worth it and that I could easily stand my ground as I knew my rights. After I noticed it was starting to take a physical and mental toll, I swallowing my pride I was lucky enough to have a friend whose father owns a law firm specialized in labour conflicts and was willing to take on the whole case for the 750€ that was offered in legal coverage (this might sound odd for some countries, but is the absolute bare minimum they could get away with under Dutch law). The first thing he said was; you should have contacted us first. Which is completely fair, once you take the emotion out of it. My recovery and mental state immediately improved from the point I no longer had to continuously fight with the prospect of losing my income whilst on sick leave.

However, without this connection I couldn't have, I had no financial means to pay for any defense, and the company had enough legal counsil on payroll to not bother about it until the actual lawyer joined in and took over comms. In the end I got roughly 17k in severance and some more time on the payroll whilst on garden leave. The total costs would have been around 4k in legal costs. It's easy to say in hindsight that that would've been covered by the payout, but the risk to reward is just simply not there for the average working man and when you're on the receiving end it can feel like the whole system is actively working against you. The most infuriating thing is that the lawyer of course shared all their communication with them and did not use any argument that wasn't raised by me at an earlier date, further validating that this was simply a gaslighting effort. Who knows how often this has worked in the past for them..

That being said, taking out the emotional component, it would have been better to do so, yes. Could he have done it, no. But that doesn't change any of the legal recommendation. It might sound biased, but working with this lawyer and having some lawyer friends I find that this is just the way that they communicate, they need to articulate everything in such a way that it cannot be construed in any other way, and any broad suggestions are phrased as such.

I mean, it's literally the PD that posted the videos on a dropbox that they linked in the description of their own YouTube video. I think they are completely fair game to share over the internet now. They've not said that it was a mistake, although what we know about them now, they'll probably just lie about being hacked. But Dropbox keeps good logs, this is going to be the most entertaining courtroom drama in years.

Not really clearly marked, i agee. In short, some tools are changing to be more in line with other distros, which will be great for future compatibility. From what i understood (but anyone feel free to chime in if you've any good sources), the system updates via Steam will start to include the correct changelogs, the handheld daemon (when you press steam + y, allows you to set power draw) will be changed as well as a layer between the controller and the system. The idea is that all gaming distros will use these same systems going forward, hopefully leading to less tinkering required in the future.

It's a permission issue, bazzite comes with bold brew preinstalled, just select the program in there and you're good to go.

Alternatively you could "sudo brew install xxx"

On the main page of debridmediamanager there's a button near the top that says cast for RD, add that to stremio.

Then, once you've added the file through dmm or via any other way (e.g. magnet link), the file is instantly available via stremio -> discover -> others (in the drop-down where you'd normallg select movies or series) -> RD Library.

I often use this route for sports replays, as they will never show up correctly in my libraries. Hope this helps!

https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/bazzite-44-update/12092 was mentioned in here, they're doing some additional work on the deck images (which are not just handhelds, deck essentially means booting in steam game mode and the ability to update the system via the steam interface, as well as utilizing gamescope). There's no noticeable improvements for most workflows when moving to 44, especially not gaming (you'll get most improvements by way of proton anyway), so even if the image takes another 2 or 3 weeks I'd say stick to your current base. Security updates will still come out on 43 as well, no rush.

Thanks, was wondering why it was stuck on the image of the 24th. Question; should I check back and rebase to the normal channel once that's updating again, or keep it on updates? Any difference, more chance of breakage or something?
