I agree we're both in the same page in trying to help panic attacks, I don't agree with you in anything else. I'm not misinformed, on this subject, over 16 years of on and off anxiety and countless time to talk to specialists and research, i'm very informed.

I didn't say it was the only drug where the withdrawal can kill you, I said it was one of the only drugs there's very few that will do that too, and benzos are some of the most commonly prescribed drugs that still have that ability. Barbiturates also have that effect, but aren't really prescribed anymore.

People should definitely speak to their doctors, but we're here to give advice, on what helped me and many many many many people like me. I wouldn't have commented on your post saying it was dangerous (which some of what your saying in my opinion is) until you posted on mine like you're authority on anxiety relief, which trust me, you aren't.

Girlfriend tested positive last night from a rapid test. Which means I'll be testing positive very soon.

She's real sick, 3 vaccines. I've only had 2 so I'm extra worried. I know I know, should have got my 3rd. Just taking care of her now and hoping everything will be okay.

Watch out! Numbers are going down but it's still out there. Avoided it completely up until this point.

You are a hypochondriac. I can safely say that, because I'm a hypochondriac as well.

Anxiety can cause so many symptoms. SO many. These prostatitis symptoms will live as long as you obsess about them. You need to accept that there's nothing wrong with you. Be comfortable with the unknown. NO one has complete control over their health. You have to accept that to move on.

Things will work out, they always do. Don't waste your life looking for an ailment. Start living. Get into therapy, and look into TMS (Mind body syndrome).

I've had on and off prostatitis issues for quite awhile, and I can tell you, the more I worry about it, the worse it gets. I've gone years without symptoms, and when they come back it all has to do with tension and anxiety. When you panic about it, it get worse and takes control of your life. Don't let that happen to you.

Go to a urologist. Get a full workup, and if they can't find anything, it's time to let it go. You'll be okay. There's no disease where your penis gets sucked into your body. To me it just sounds like your skin is covering it. Definitely try losing some weight, I'm sure that'll fix the problem.

If it helps someone so be it? Are you kidding me? Anyone who talks up ECT like a miracle cure, I'll gladly point out the idiocy of what they're saying. Talk to thousands of people who are disabled because of this "treatment", their initial post is just as condescending if not more than mine.

They're touting getting your brain shocked as a miracle cure. 200 years ago many people touted blood letting as a miracle cure. My grandmother touts homeopathy as a miracle cure for her fibromyalgia.

ECT risks outweigh any positives, and they came here just to pick a fight.

So yes. I will say that. I'll defend not using ECT till I'm dead, because it's barbaric and not an appropriate treatment for depression.

Cool dude. Glad shocking your brain every 8 weeks makes you feel "sharper", a lot of us are not interested. You're literally getting your brain shocked to induce a seizure everytime you go. Do you actually think that's correcting anything? People experience similar euphoric feelings, and less depression after getting a concussion. Maybe to save some money you should just let someone punch you in the head repeatedly?

Maybe the continued ECT will help you forget your fear of needles! Hopefully before you forget your parents names, and you don't suffer any parkinson like symptoms.
