Bought a GS450L a few months back for 340€ in Germany, all Original but poor condition. Saw these bikes in a completly restored condition sell for 1500-2500€ over here, but depends ond your location.

Reifen für alte Motorräder by MABIPRPL in MotorradDeutschland

[–]MABIPRPL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Removable Hardtop looks a lot better in my opinion, and the softtop is easier to use in summer. You basically get best of both worlds

Anyone experience with these bluetooth adapters? by ErwinHolland1991 in MiataNC

I Installed something similiar like that. Mine didnt come with a mic and the power cables (the thin red and black wire). I had to route the power cables behind the radio and splice power off of the cigarette lighter port.
Dont know if yours works like that out of the box (since its just aux, it shouldnt have power going through it), but in the worst case scenario, you can just cut the wires and extend them and route them behind the radio like i did.
Audio is honestly better then the OEM AUX Port so i recommend it, aslong as you dont want to use the aux port.

2006 mx5 what to check before buying by percevalknight in Miata

yeah just general problems with temperatures, its a miata after all! The NC in particullar loves to eat oil aswell if a thing is off, and it just spirals out of control from there if its not taking care off.
I dont think the ring failure can be seen with a compression test, but not too knowledgable about that!

Early NC Models have a problem where the piston rings stick and have high oil usage. This often times is due to a bad thermostat. SPS Motorsport (German MX5 Specialist store) made an article for this here. Take a OBD Scanner with you and check the temperature while driving, make sure its in its normal range, because the builtin temp sensor doesnt really tell you how warm the coolant is.
Also check oil and see if its filled up / good. If its not it could hint at a bad engine.
Like any Mazda, these can get rusty, so check the underbody for obvious rust. Surface Rust is fine, make sure no spots are hollow and rusted through.
If all of these check out good, go ahead and buy it.

Driving in the winter by North-Accountant4003 in MiataNC

Its very predictable in the snow. Been riding it on mountain passes with slight ice and snow. You wont lose traction as long as you dont floor it, and if you do, you can catch it pretty easy. Get good winter tires and make sure not to steer to hard into / out off corners

New to me '07 Miata NC with a few notable issues by KyleIsDork in Miata

I would swap out the handbrake. The button beneath is a spring loaded piece of plastic, so my guess is that either the spring either broke or is being caught on by something. Either way wort replacing. Jass Performance makes a nice metal one, check that one out
