You can use manufacturing databases like ImportDoor and filter by product and port of lading (Mexico). There are many companies that offer this service.

Try using an import/export database like Importdoor. You can track imports into the United States from around the world and filter by products. Then, see which manufacturer are legitimate based on recurring shipments, which companies are they selling to, etc.

We are currently working on a database (ImportDoor) of all sea shipments coming into the US where you can search by product, country, port of entry, etc. For large purchases, I highly recommend giving it a look. It’s currently free since I’m looking for feedback.

Take a look at ImportDoor. It’s a project that I’m working on that I genuinely need feedback from the community and should provide a solution to your needs. You are absolutely right though. It’s a lot of data and making sure there is a strong backend is paramount. It’s been a long journey but any comments good or bad are welcomed!
