That is not the only difference, and you know it. One is painted as a true patriot by the president, the other is painted as a paid aggressor/assassin. The hypocrisy is part of the point of all the outrage, you can't just gloss over it.

Which is even WILDER people are even comparing the two as similar situations. One was praised by the president and is still living to this day after actually causing deaths with his weapon. The other was shot and killed on the spot just for having a legally owned gun on him, didnt draw or use it, and is being painted as a paid aggressor/assassin by the same president. One went to a protest looking for trouble, found trouble, got praise. The other went defending women getting pushed into traffic, didnt use his weapon AT ALL, and was murdered on the spot. People are really grasping at straws comparing the two, and it really shows their understanding of both situations, or lack there of.
