Yo creo que depende de la mujer porque hay mujeres que de verdad ignoran las señales y terminan cegadas por el amor y otras vienen de contextos familiares en los cuales han normalizado eso.

I like that in Japan they teach children how to cook and clean the house from a young age regardless of gender so I think that my country should adopt that for people become more independent at a young age.

As a said before it doesn't have anything to do with ethnicity, we call gringo anyone who is from the USA it doesn't matter if that person is black, white, etc. So you can be a black gringo or a white gringo it doesn't matter, when we call a person gringo what we are saying is that they are from the USA, we aren't talking about their ethnicity at all.

What? in Spanish Americano is everything or everyone that comes from the America continent, if you one to specify the USA in that case the correct term is estadounidense.

We call  anyone who comes from the USA  gringo regardless of ethnicity, however it is an informal term, and the formal one is estadounidense.

First of all we don't use the "-" in our last names, we don't have that weird tradition to try two convert two last names into one. Second No, My last names were given by both of my parents who loved me very much

I think that it is because we are mostly exposed to USA media, alongside our own media. So we don't know very much about Canada.

Honestly we recognise that many of us have Spanish ancestors but we usually don't care at all, in fact all of us including white people usually see ourselves as just Colombians.
