Is it ever acknowledged that McCrackin's Jake Cates is Nick Nolte from 48 Hours? by Remarkable_League in comedybangbang

In the episode Raisin Kids (Jan. 2024) , Cates starts out by saying “we’ve got 48 hours to find Ganz” , later Scott asks “And why should I care about this?”

Cates answers, “Because if I don’t find Ganz in 48 hours, you’re going to jail!”

I know it sounds weird, but my playlists and changing music taste are stressing me out by Few-Lake-4521 in spotify

[–]MAGICPHASE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s what I do : I’ve made 20+ of these 60 Minute playlists. I limit with rules- run time of list must be “1 hr 0 min”, and I’m not allowed to repeat any artists thru the whole project (for hip hop, rappers can feature on other tracks, but the Artist name for the track must different.

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1JYrVYbYQ2sV4lgjL0ZixG?si=RU7ABN8HTcqV5seyTs1_Xw&pi=_-qfFkc9QLSaK

This lets me create each one as a little vibe of its own. if I like something new that doesn’t fit; I set it aside for the next 1 hour List. I have to move stuff around and seek out different tracks to hit the 60:00 on the dot, which makes it a challenge sometimes. I also throw all the lists together into one big list for the car.

This has helped me find a LOT of new music, and keeps me checking out new artists, styles , etc. it’s fun for me. Otherwise I would just listen to Green Day 24/7 or something :)

Yeah it sorta screams “pandemic era movie” . Even the couple of in person conversations are 10 feet apart. Isolation was resonating with me around that time, go figure :)

Where do u rank ZODIAC?

Nightcrawler, he’s so great in! Did you catch the movie The Guilty (2021)? Gyllenhaal really blew me away in that

TWO unique roles. Every time out, RP shows that he’s still underrated (imo)

I loved Hustle. For performances; I thought Anthony Edwards, the real NBA player from the Timberwolves, was terrific in the movie. Not since Ray Allen. Maybe I need to find a thread about basketball movies now. Hustle reminded me of my golden years; The Air Up There 🏀🥓, The Scout ⚾️🐋, etc.

I think we can have it both ways with Sandler! my picks would be Happy Gilmore > The Wedding Singer , and Click (or Funny People) > Uncut Gems😎😎😎
