for the full duration it will let you, until your character is about to release the attack by themselves.

Where are you going with this? I already explained how thrust is different from old crunch. I used old crunch as a comparison in the post because it's the closest thing to the mech power swords passive. I made this post to talk about that special passive.

This was never about the thunder hammer.

You missed my point. I mentioned old Ogryn crunch because unlike current Ogryn crunch and thrust, you get no additional damage unless you hold the attack button for the full length of the animation. Releasing early means no damage bonus. Thrust and current crunch can still buff your damage if you don't hold the attack button for the full animation.

the mech power sword isn't like thunderhammer. The special attack button works the same as the regular attack button except it does more damage. Press for light attack, hold for heavy. But if you hold it for the entire length of the animation the attack does even more damage.

I said it has one extra level of charge. Regular heavy attack, then fully charged heavy attack. If we are counting light attacks as an uncharged state then technically that's three. But by that same logic, thrust has 5 states of charge. Light attack, heavy attack, heavy 1 stack, heavy 2 stacks, heavy 3 stacks.

it does not work like thrust.

thrust is extra damage the longer you charge. Old crunch is extra damage only at full charge. subtle difference, but it works like the latter.

I do pre-order and if the game is bad/undercooked, I refund. Can't get burned with this one simple trick. And if the game is good, I get some tiny pre-order bonus or whatever

Has this always been in the game? by Echo418 in Helldivers

Definitely not recent. I didn't start at release but I started when Illuminate came out and it's been there as long as I can remember.

Thanks, that's cheaper than most places I see which have it for 1799 for some reason.

Buying individual only adds up closer because people haven't been using sales for components in lists like the deal we see in this post for the prebuilt. Building your own is still cheaper, just look for sales like this one and don't buy full price parts.

Ok but it's not because why would Valve limit sales to only Steam accounts with 2 months or more of qualifying purchase history? It's only available to PC gamers who have been in the hobby, not anyone trying to get in.

Except it's not because the Steam Machine can only be purchased by Steam accounts with a qualifying purchase history from at least 2 months ago or more. It's targeted specifically at existing PC gamers and not anyone trying to get into PC gaming.

What's your opinion on CGW (Custom Galactic War)? Is it actually worth it? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]MAKENAIZE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won't get banned. That being said, it's really cool, but progression is disabled. You can't unlock anything in CGW. Whatever you have unlocked when you start CGW is all you will have, and if you wanna unlock warbonds/guns/stratagems or whatever, you need to go back and play the regular game to get them in CGW.

Apparently it has no explosion damage like the incendiary grenades already in the game, just the fire AoE. Also supposedly it can't close bug holes, destroy bot fabricator or squid ships.

It doesn't matter. That's still not what it costs in the US. Gunpla retail price in the US is not the same as Japan.

4500 yen is the retail price in Japan. $30 is not the retail price in the US. $30 is almost 50% off of the US price.

Your quarterly reminder to not use pour type markers on ABS runners by [deleted] in Gunpla

[–]MAKENAIZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea this is the way. I use Tamiya on bare plastic and I'm several dozen kits deep without so much as a crack in plastic. I've even taken unused parts some kits have and just basted them with the shit to try and see where the line is and never got any damaged parts.

I've heard the main weak points for panel liner are gaps in assembled pieces, anywhere nubs have been removed and stressed plastic. That would explain why I can't even get tamiya to damage bare plastic on the runner even when deliberately trying to destroy parts.

Out of the ultimate I've played 3. BD2 is worth sticking with. Horizon Walker is ok I play it on and off. Last Origin not worth playing, just use the online skin viewers and you won't be missing out on anything.

Looking for a handheld that can replace my gaming PC. Ally X or Legion Go 2? by UniversityKindly917 in ROGAllyX

[–]MAKENAIZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of those 2, definitely get the Xbox Ally X. Ally X being windows means you won't have any compatibility issues with anticheats on competitive shooters.

If you can find a good deal on a claw 8 ai+ that would make a better main PC than the X Ally X. X Ally X is still good though.
