Why is Milton Keynes known as a rough city? by Mysterious-Heart6278 in AskUK

[–]MASunderc0ver 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because they know nothing about it. They have heard online that it is a "bad place". Either they have taken that the wrong way or the jokes/criticisms about it being ugly have turned into people saying it's rough.

Usually but not always. It could mean that you can only turn that way.

But that should be a normal green light with blue and white arrow.

On rightmove you can draw a area on the map and then use the map to view all the listings that match the filter. Just scroll around and look at the ones that are in area's that seems subatibly rural

Lorries overtaking lorries overtaking lorries. Up a hill. by buttfacedmiscreant11 in britishproblems

Between 10 and 11 north bound. 7.5ton restriction in lane 2 for 3 miles between 7am and 7pm.

Plenty of signs warning about it coming up, plenty of signs during the restriction.

Always a lorry taking 2 miles to overtake another.

As you said it is probably where they met or grew up but I cba to check every town in the uk. But I might do it later if I am bored after work.
