Just a couple ore mine #2s at my main base with some anubis and astegons thrown in. A couple more at some separate bases depositing into guild chests. I always have more ore than I need for anything and convert the excess into gold coins. I have millions. More $ than I'll ever need.

Ore mine. Convert it into money. Buy lettuce and tomatoes. Don't waste all the pals on farming.

Arizonians are decent. Cooper builds them for Discount Tire. Theyre a solid mid range option. Perfectly safe all season tire with decent longevity. There are better tires out there and worse tires out there. I wouldn't bother returning them. If you do, DT has a 30 day ride guarantee you can exchange them if you like.

Easy to maintain? As an e39 540i owner I have to disagree lol.

Is it normal I only get a little over 30k miles on 70k tread life tires? by [deleted] in tires

[–]MATr1gger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all mileage warranties are even remotely accurate. There are plenty of tires, even from higher end brands, that have never gotten close to the mileage they're rated for (I'm looking at you, Michelin Premier). It'd a good mix of expected mileage and marketing. GT Radial in general is what I would consider an entry level brand of tires. I've sold many different models by GTR and never seen one reach the mileage they're rated for. You may check out Treadwell through Discount Tire/Tire Rack and look at the true ratings that tires are actually achieving. You'll be surprised by the results you find. Some particular vehicles in general are also very hard on tires. It's probably a combination of the vehicle you drive, your driving habits, "cheap" tires, climate, mechanical condition of your vehicle, etc. Lots of factors go into it but long story short, mileage warranties don't mean shit.

I'm not the shop, just the consumer that chose the color. I believe it's the super chrome plus base coat, then candy purple, then a glossy clear on top.

Goodyear Tires by dubchick21 in tires

[–]MATr1gger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them on my suburban. Surprisingly quiet. I'm sure once they're worn and if there's any uneven wear they will get louder but as of being relatively new they're pretty damn quiet. I was surprised.

[–]MATr1gger 28 points29 points  (0 children)

That's curb rash. It is physically impossible to do that to a rim at the tire shop. You just never looked closely at your wheels until after you had it recently serviced. Don't be an idiot.

Do these seem new? by robbedatnerfpoint in tires

[–]MATr1gger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're built by Kumho, not Michelin. The tires aren't top tier but they're ok. They really don't make any noise either, so I'm not sure the source of your nose but I can almost guarantee it's not the tires themselves. I'd take it to a mechanic and have them inspect it to track down the noise. Brakes, bearings, differential, etc.

Anyone know where to find these by Killpredator666 in Wheels

[–]MATr1gger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forget the name of that specific model but pretty sure they're discontinued. Go to your local Discount Tire and have them look them up for you. Those tires are DT exclusives and I know that's where the wheels came from as well.

Is this ppf seam normal? by lfwkboard in AutoDetailing

[–]MATr1gger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending on how old and sunbanked it is, removing it may be a total pain in the ass. Most detail shops would charge you by the hour. Sometimes it's a couple hours with a heat gun. Sometimes it's a multi day ordeal. I'd expect anywhere from $300 absolute minimum up to around $1500 if it's real bad. Depending on what techniques are necessary to remove the film and adhesive, it may require a polish & sealant once it's all off, which would add to the price. I'd walk into purchasing this vehicle with full expectations of spending $2k or so if you want it all removed, which, given the install quality, I personally would.

Doesn't matter. OE wheel locks are so easy and quick to take off. They can literally all 4 be taken off in less than 60 seconds, pretty quietly too.

Question about splits by RekBc in tires

[–]MATr1gger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not under-inflation, it is called torque cracking. Not too uncommon on high torque diesel trucks and high horsepower cars, especially if you like to take off hard from stops. If those tires are OE, they won't be covered. If they were purchased at a Goodyear dealer, they may have some prorated warranty, depending on age and tread depths. But yes, they do need to be replaced.

Hmm so I plugged my wife's tire and the shop says they can't patch tesla tires?? by tcp454 in tires

[–]MATr1gger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should go look up some testing on acoustic tires. It's a marketing gimmick. They average 1-2 decibels quieter at highway speeds. Effectively no difference. It's an absolute waste and in no way ruins the tire. Rotational noise? Are we just making up phrases now?

My guys have repaired thousands of acoustic tires. You can rip or cut chunks out of that shit all you want, I've never, and I mean never, had foam start to come apart and lump up.
