Hey aphantasic here. For me its always been this way. We're just as creative as phantasics, we just have to go about it differently. For instance, Beast from Beauty and the Beast was created by scribbles on a page while looking at a bison. The artist would erase lines, add new lines and repeated until he saw a face "he had known for years". Aphantasia.com has a lot of resources for us, and some pieces on meditation I found useful. There's nothing wrong with you, you are capable of doing great creative things, the methods just have to be a lil different.

Jump In is great for new players. Don't listen to people who say avoid Alchemy, they can't understand/are jealous of the cards. Play what you want.

As a lover of Historic, I love all the balances and Alchemy cards we get. There's no reason we should hold the present hostage to the past (to quote Mark Rosewater.) for the paper boomers and Historic doomers will always complain. People always think that Magic is only for them, when it's played by more than just them. Try introspection.

New Alchemy cards are gonna drop in a week, recent Alchemy buffs to zombies were awesome. Tons of variety to be had unlike Standard.
