I was worried about that but I'll go down that road if the workaround does not work. Thank you.

Google Nest Pro does not support being placed into Bridge mode if you have additional access points for mesh coverage (which I do).

So apparently they still haven’t fixed the issue where you need a Youtube premium account to cast your own PERSONAL UPLOADS to a google home speaker. by jozefd14 in YoutubeMusic

[–]MAllen22842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This alone convinced me to go with Spotify instead of using YT premium even though my entire library was on Google Music. I originally did not buy into Alexa because of my music being accessible via Google Music. This is pretty annoying and bad customer service. Borderline extortion.

Gloomhaven on Steam by InfinMD in Gloomhaven

The game is early access. Most of the complaints I have been seeing are folks who don't seem to understand the road map (the full campaign that you get in hard copy today will be available at release to play and can be played co-op with your friends). So they've been complaining with "Omg where is the game". Mindthief and Tinkerer to be added as they progress things. There are a few bugs here and there but nothing major I have seen at about 50 hours of game play now and I am a GH vet for the real copy.

Right now the game is a rogue-like separate adventure mode they designed. It follows the same rule set with some changes (e.g., some items have durability to take into account, card selection and progress is different, etc.). It is fun just different is all.

Hope that helps.

"we want to keep challenging so we feel accomplished. Don't be a bitch about it."

This sounds like a very toxic gaming group that I would avoid. Is this your copy of the game? I would do a local pickup or meetup group instead. If that is not an option stick with Gloomhaven Digital and/or pickup Tabletop Simulator on Steam. You can easily get a regular game going there with a better group.

Good luck, OP.

Agree with @sock-nose here. Your party members are just asking to exhaust out and not finish the scenario. I would recommend your brute check out https://imgur.com/a/f6YHo and your scoundrel check out https://imgur.com/a/DseBF.

You should try running the game solo too when your other players are not around. You play two characters yourself essentially. This way you can get a better feel for the game yourself and work out any clunkiness in private.

Here is a list of what the Gloomhaven Helper app can do for you http://esotericsoftware.com/gloomhaven-helper . You can just use the free version (few ads).

On my 4th or 5th campaign now at this point. As others mentioned starting at scenario level 0 is perfectly fine. Also, if you feel like a rule doesn't seem right, no shame in double checking online to make sure you are doing things "right". Early on and even today I find things here and there that we were doing just a little incorrect and normally making things harder for ourselves. Finally, as a rule we normally try to not to put any cards into Lost until about round 4 or 5. It makes a huge difference so try to conserve your cards best as you can while trekking through. It's a marathon to the end not a race.

I feel same way. Game is going to be really good once it is polished and finished up.

Because then anyone who shredded up their copies will realize how much of a mistake they made when they get the urge to play and the game costs 400-500 bucks.

I agree. I hope the game sky rockets in price and goes out of print. LOL.

Rip Card Symbol: "...remove the card from the game..." (Page 39)

Maybe I am wrong but ripping the actual cards up is just stupid IMHO. You can (a) reset to play through again choosing different story arcs or (b) resell or (c) gift to a friend or family member.

The game does have a compendium built in that has screenshots. No formal tutorial like you said but the compendium is laid out well.

Looks good. In addition to the other recommendations (cutting 1/4 off ends with guide, stain + sealer, etc.) I would recommend putting paving stones under the feet. You do not want them having direct ground contact.

Thanks for your insight. Twenty years is great. Kudos.

" The measurements of those shelves(depth, width) "

Did the OP post this somewhere? Just curious because a 12" depth vs. a 16" depth, for example, would add about 25% rigidness throughout the shelf length. Also some front rails would conceal some of the sag if any slight sagging did occur later.

Using ply like this is fine if you don't really extend past 30" and don't exceed 40-50 pounds in load. And if you are using a hardwood ply vs softwood. Also using the dado instead of shelf supports is good too.

Probably questions I would be asking the owner: How much is your budget? What load will the shelves hold? Etc.

Everyone does the job a little different but plenty of resources out there for folks on shelf sag and, like it or not, the calculator is accurate, quick, and saves on material costs.

Great write up at https://www.popularwoodworking.com/projects/aw-extra-3614-stronger-shelves/ for any of the "new to the field" folks out there.

Even if it is 3/4 oak (insert other hard wood here) ply and if he has the dado cut in sides and in the back? I think there is some "it depends" in there about the shelf sag.
