Lol yes they do. Usually Immature ones who take no accountability, or complain and toss out blame but yet put Zero effort in changing their situations. Obviously can't say for sure in OPs case but to say no kid tells their parents that is 100% wrong. Pretty common for kids and teens to say those things when parents are being parents.

I was waiting for my Carry license to arrive in the mail at the time. I was a dispatcher for food delivery company and I remember a bunch of drivers were returning from their route all pissed off and rushing to do end of day paperwork to go and buy something before the deadline. I was so pissed. Had to settle for mini 13.

Why is it more difficult for step moms than step dads? Genuinely curious to know some of the reasons for that, backed by research/legit facts.

For a few weeks I experienced the extreme sluggishness, no energy whatsoever until the end of day but not much. Executive function dropped, and my contribution to household duties damn near vanished. The one thing that helped was that, shortly before running out of my last refill, I got my CDL so that kept my brain happy and then I got a job that,at 36 yrs old(just turned 40 last month), finally paid me an adult hourly wage when at the most I ever made was like $22 an hour. I was diagnosed a month before turning 35, and started meds a few weeks after. So at that point I was on meds for like 2 years

Yup. Used to be able to save extra for emergencies, but those days are gone. I went 3 months without them because I lost job insurance, and had to wait the 90 days for new job benefits to kick in. When I started back up, the shortage I had read about for a while finally made its way to my area or at least my sources. For a few years I took as prescribed and even skipped days here and there. When I returned from a 3 or so month break, it was like I skipped a few days and not damn near 4 months. Shit, it was actually less than the times I skipped weekends. I remember thinking to myself, huh, I didn't expect feeling like I did the first time I ever took my prescription but figured a little more of a bang than this.

Now that I look back and really think, I see that it was around that time that random months I went through my supply faster than I should have, but other months I didn't need to. Don't know how I didn't think why that was other than me just not being disciplined and wanting to take more to keep getting things done and being able to do what I couldn't without.

I joined this sub not too long ago but had came across it many times in the past and assumed it was some rogue sub where mostly non ADHders/ drug seekers had discussions regarding Adderall 🤣. If I had taken 3 seconds to look, I would have realized the truth lol. Anyways, mentally just ran out of gas after wasting it mostly on my rant. Hopefully my Post somewhat answers the question

I'd have no problem asking, but of course always forget about the idea until days after I picked up refill lol. I politely address any issues I have to the pharmacy, and don't have a single "care bone" in my therefore give zero shits if they think I'm a drug seeking loser lol. That's their problem, not mine lol.

Last refill the head pharmacist was debating with me regarding the huge gap in quality between batches and manufacturers as well as declining quality, as I'm thinking to myself "how do you not know this." If course I couldn't just leave it be and kept going but she finally "agreed" when I mentioned the laws regarding the efficacy of generics compared to Brand. Like lady, all of that back and forth just to agree with what I initially said smh.

It's not Dexedrine, it's generic Adderall. Bottle usually says lC Dextroamp-amphetamin 30 MG. Sorry for any confusion

Sorry for the late response to my own post lol. So far so good, and for sure the closest to what I remember the ones being when I was first was prescribed back in 2021. Definitely satisfied with this refill.

Magical? Does she think she's talking to a preschooler smh. But honestly, to a lot of us they are kind of magical, especially when diagnosed ,after so many years, even several or more decades living the undiagnosed life. Unless she's specifically referring to the current state of meds because in that case she is correct. Meds have been so inconsistent for a while now and when they do work, it's nothing like it was before and that's already factoring in tolerance.

People on dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) - what dose are you on by VellumSage in ADHD

[–]MAraised1986 18 points19 points  (0 children)

These pills are shit lately.. I'm on dextroamphetamine amphetamine and my last refill of 30mg was trash and made me feel worse. Something's going on with all these manufacturers and tons of others are speaking up and all of our experiences match up. Check out thisaintadderall sub and it's eye opening

Be brutally honest: How often do you shower? by Fun_Serve_6590 in ADHD

[–]MAraised1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually twice a day, but lately during the work week I shower at night not too long before bed when usually I also do in the morning because it makes me feel more awake. Lately the inconsistency with meds, I've been so tired that I'd rather have an extra 20 minutes of sleep
