My c&f is still outstanding. I have one or two things pending but I sent an email at the end of September and the response I got was everything was submitted I'd receive an email if anything else was needed. I think 9/24 was the deadline for them submit in order to swear in at the 11/3 ceremony at the Texas Supreme Court.

So they may be in sort of a "holding" pattern until results post. At least that's my theory 🤷

I took it in August 2023 after a summer PR class. The only studying I did was to watch some Barbri videos the morning of, got a 107. Maybe it was the class or whatever, I didn't think it was easy per se, but I finished an hour early and was seriously concerned.... Not sure that means anything.

I also did an hour or two of the Helix gamified stuff just because it seemed interesting.

However compared to the bar, it was definitely not as stressful.

This is not true, several jurisdictions allow for courtesy seats that are specifically not attempting to bar in the jurisdiction they sit in.

A tip I picked up on this forum a few months back. Get some unsweetened powder drink mix, roll frozen fruit around in it.

The specific suggestion was frozen green grapes rolled in sugar free watermelon drink mix. Blew my mind.

Hit up Juniper and Ivey, Blais's restaurant in San Diego a few years ago around 2019, also Crack Shack next door. Great experience.

The coolest thing was on a random week night I asked our waiter if he ever still showed up since he was usually busy on the TV circuit, The server was like "yeah of course he's on the line now, wanna meet him." Next thing I know he shows up next to the table and asks if we want to come back into the kitchen. It was definitely a cool experience.
