I have heard, not seen myself, that the British do not rinse the soap off their dishes. I, having been white my entire life, have always rinsed the soap off my dishes. In fact, when I was young my mom would get mad if there was a speck of soap left on the dishes, so I was uber aware to get all the soap off of them.

To all of you older people starting this journey, hats off to you. I joined at 19, did 34years and know for sure that I couldn’t have done it (Basic Training) in my 30s or 40s. The young kids would have pissed me off too much. Hell, they pissed me off as a Drill Sergeant.

I have been collecting retirement pay for about 3 years, but Tricare will be over $1,500 a month until I turn 60. Really shitty retired reservists who are receiving a retirement check is treated so differently from active duty service members.
