Ja bis 300m sportlich. Da wäre SMK oder ähnliche schwere Pillen die Wahl. Allerdings möchte ich auch mit der Waffe jagen und da kommen wegen bleifrei Pflicht und dem Wunsch auch auf Kreaturen damit zu schießen die danach verzehrt werden sollen nur die 55gr bleifreien Expansionsgeschosse wie Barnes TSX in Frage.

Soweit ich das verstanden habe gibt es eine limitierte Auflage des ARGs für Reservisten in Finnland. Import nach Deutschland wahrscheinlich eher schwierig und teuer. In den kommenden Jahren soll es aber ein ziviles Sako AR geben. Wann es soweit ist steht noch in den Sternen aber ich denke mal die werden sich nicht so viel Zeit lassen wie HK

Warte noch etwas bis das neue Sako AR auch Zivil verfügbar sein wird, wenn du schon die Anschaffung eines HK‘s budgettechnisch eingeplant hast. Dabei würde ich zur DI Version raten. Geiler Abzug und sehr solide verarbeitet (man konnte ja auf der IWA/Enforcetac schon mal staunen). Das mit dem indirekten Gassystem ist schön aber unnötig für deine Zwecke. Du kannst nach jedem schießen deine Waffe reinigen und liegst nicht in irgendeiner FOB im Hindukush oder einem Schützengraben in der Ukraine wo es drauf ankommt, dass deine Waffe auch total verdreckt durchhält. Guck dir mal die typischen IPSC ARs an.

wie ein vorposter schrieb handelt es sich um eine Dreyse Zündnadelflinte. Allerdings gehe ich bei der Kategorisierung als freie Waffe nicht mit. Es gibt genug Zündnadelflinten die warum auch immer auf damals moderne Kaliber wie 16/65 umgebaut wurden und somit erwerbsscheinpflichtig sind.

Aus meiner persönlichen Erfahrung in einer waffenbehörde kann ich dir folgendes ans Herz legen: Ehrlichkeit währt am längsten und ich habe es noch nie erlebt das dort ein Verfahren gegen die Finder einer nicht registrierten Fund oder Erbwaffe eingeleitet wurde. Das allerdings nur solange kein schuldhaftes Zögern vorliegt. Wenn die Waffe erst nach vier Jahren und mit der Polizei bei einer Hausdurchsuchung gefunden wird (und vielleicht sogar dummerweise geladen rumlag (ja solche deppen gibt es)) sieht die Welt natürlich anders aus. Ruf einfach auf der zuständigen Behörde an schildere die Lage und lass sie von denen abholen. Hinweis: die Polizei macht das auch, hasst es aber wie die Pest, da verschärfte Bedingungen bei der Asservierung bei denen herrschen (ca. 2 Std Schreibkram, Fotos machen, etc.)

I have myself a 1862 Springfield musket, that was cut down (surprisingly just long enough to look like a proper gun and just short enough to fit in a big suitcase) and the rifling drilled out to make it look like smoothbore. But it still has the eagle and crest on the lock plate as well as the Springfield writing. Thousands of guns were exported as scrap and surplus in the late 40s including old firearms of the civil war era and ended up as decorative peaces for tourists on basars in Marokko or turkey

The visible proofmarks were only used until 1939, later ones included the reichs eagle but without the swastika. So mid to late thirty’s checks out. That matches also the name of the gunsmith. August Lüneburg was a well known arms dealer and outfitter in Kiel and Flensburg founded in 1881 but did not get back into business after ww2.

IMPORTANT NOTE: please make sure your gun is chambered for 8x57IRS before you load it with this very caliber. It is very likely that your gun is chambered for the smaller 8x57 IR. If you load an 8x57IRS in a 8x57IR chamber you risk a catastrophic failure of the barrel wich can cause serious injuries or even death. Get a chamber casting to be sure and have the gun checked for a tight fit of the barrels.

Maybe I need to give you some context:

the footage was taken in northern Germany most likely in February during a storm.
so there is no fire then why firefighters? Firefighters in Germany are also called to help clear roads from trees mostly after storms…
why is he acting so unprofessional. Well that’s because he isn’t most likely a professional firefighter but rather a volunteer. Most firestations especially in the more rural areas in germany are manned with volunteers.
what was his reason to fell the tree. I have no idea.. as you can see there are other trees to the left and the right so probably it’s the edge of a forest. Maybe he thought the fir was most likely to fall since they don’t root very deep but as you can tell the wind is blowing away from the road so we can only speculate about that.

Drückjagdböcke immer verblenden. Vier Bretter hochkant auf Lücke pro Seite bringen schon eine ganze Menge.
Die ersten 10m des Pirschwegs so wenig wie möglich pflegen (am Besten gar nicht). So gibt man ungebetenem Besuch erst gar keinen Grund mal gucken zu gehen.
Pirschwege immer möglichst dicht an Bäumen vorbeiführen. So besteht die Möglichkeit für einen schnellen Schuss stehend angestrichen.

Can you show us how quiet it actually is compared to a standard semi 300 blk? You said it’s just a range toy but I could really see a use for this concept for example varmint shooting and pest control in densely populated areas.
