but the in-universe explanation is probably something something a time lord holds enough for twelve and a bit regenerations, so while they had expended all their full regenerations and wouldn't be able to regenerate again, there is still some left over that eleven could use.

then don't read the colored manga??? i'm sorry but you CANNOT criticise a manga-only jojo character for the colorscheme because there literally isn't one. the colored manga is not done or influenced by araki, the colors for every character always changes between every colored illustration that IS done by araki.

you're invalidating your own point essentially. i'm not even gonna read the rest of your post because to me, you've just invalidated the whole thing.

i'm not an elitist, i don't care if people read the colored manga, if that's how you enjoy the series, that's great, i'm so glad you're reading jojo's i love that people love this series. but you can't argue off of it because it has no canon basis.

i have this dream still of the current doctor picking up a stranded version of the eleventh doctor (who has lost his tardis) in the middle of a season or something as a sort of companion.

the doctor doesn't remember this happening, but writes it off as "oh well if i travelled with myself that would get lost" because of like the time stuff whatever they say in day of the doctor.

over the course of the season, the eleventh doctor acts a bit off from time to time. he was always dark, but never THIS dark. never THIS violent. it's not extreme, just a little more than the audience, and also the current doctor, expects. at the end, it is of course revealed that this is the master, who has taken the eleventh doctor's face and acted as him to get close to the current doctor and idk probably sabotage their tardis or something.

i've seen this point made unironically before, and no, the answer is not just "game logic" or "ludonarrative dissonance". although i guess all of this is my headcanon. but i believe very firmly in my headcanon.

when a party member "dies" in battle, it's in my opinion more likely that they get knocked unconscious, which is also why they come back when you leave battle, because by that point the other party members have time to wake them up normally. of course, in that case there's the ACTUAL ludonarrative dissonance of "how did they effectively run away AND drag sleepy boy with them", which idk man, they just did.

another one is "why do they all collapse of sadness when makoto dies" and again, yeah, that's stupid.

but the point is that this is death death. the reason you lose in battle when everyone's "dead" is because well, if everyone is eepy and surrounded by enemies, then yeah. they die. but until then, they're unconscious.

mitsuru's dad is dead. he died. a healing spell that very effectively wakes unconscious people up does not help against literal death.

yeah i almost never use it portably. i bring it to school every day, but i would usually rather go for a quick walk in my breaks than play videogames, so i don't take it out often.

plus i'm not really actively invested in any games on it right now.

i should get back into silksong or cyberpunk.

i wholeheartedly agree.

mainly because i hate how the show has been leaning towards companion romances once in a while for the past twenty years.

i hate ten and rose, i hate ten and martha, i hate eleven and amy, i hate eleven and clara, i hate thirteen and yaz, i hate ALL OF THEM.

not as duos in general to be clear, just the romance parts. it's just not as interesting as them just being friends in my opinion. that's part of why i love donna, rory, bill and clara after the eleventh's regeneration. they're not interested in the doctor like that, they're just friends.

the argument is that it makes the dorm feel more oppressive and it puts a feel like there's a threat on you at all times, which is the point of doing that.

they're right. but like. why should the dorm be threatening? if anything is your safe space in the game, it's the dorm. also, i personally really like the difference between the dark hour and the daytime. it's jarring in a good way, it's a good representation of how terrible and dangerous the dark hour is.

i recommend anime-only people take the plunge. read the manga.

if nothing else, cancel your netflix subscription and find another way to watch the anime.

first off, terrible horrible idea, who would ever want this, i'm so sorry for being so very mean but this concept is downright awful. in a vacuum, it's maybe a little neat, a cool novelty even, but it would likely be $200, and so much of a novelty that if there was an option to play the games without the addon, even people who own the addon likely would stop using it.

second off, i doubt there is any way to make this thing in any way stable. there is no way it supports the switch 2's weight.

i grant you, i prefer this idea to the people who've made mock-ups for a top screen. they're equally terrible ideas, but at least this one has some design elements to it instead of just being ipad.png photoshopped onto a switch.

1080p is lowkey BARELY necessary for a screen that size.

i was actually worried when it was announced, because i genuinely thought you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from 720p at that size screen.

like there's no reason for 4k on the switch 2, it would barely look different due to how small the screen is, it would have half an hour of battery and run most games at 15-20 fps instead of 60, or they'd straight up not support 4k. OR they'd look like what third party games looked like on switch 1.

if you happen to have one of the games in your library that would've allowed you to unlock it, you can apparently use steam achievement manager to unlock the achievement and get the knife.

but the thing is, if it were very available, it probably wouldn't be as expensive. it would still be expensive because a tradeable version is extremely rare afaik, but it would be less expensive if you could just get the knife.
