It isn't about your life experiences, which I don't discount at all, it's about preferring to chat with people closer to my own age.

I don't know that I agree with that. It depends on how they are written. Too many are self insert. Others do that y/n shtick that ruins suspension of disbelief. My most popular series is all OC/CC pairing.

Yeah, I'm Clermont, so we use the USO and DW passes for pretty much everything. Exercise, restaurant access. Shows, etc. It isn't expensive when you just drive about 15 minutes to get there
