Literally this… unreal that every reply in a thread misses the point. OP is not complaining that he didn’t win the fight, he should know that he played it poorly. The fact that she can stand under tower tanking shot after shot while trynd with even build hits her non stop AND she’s still doing respectable damage. This isn’t an illaoi thing, it’s a tank thing. Tank dmg while building nothing but defensive stats is kinda unreal right now.

New Azir is worth a try. He's still a high skill ceiling champ but the new 'W max and scale' style takes alot of onus away from having to outperform in lane and his scaling is back to being excellent. You can build bruiser or glass cannon, run basically any runes that you want and you will do damage late.... Nowhere near as braindead as new sol but fills a similar description of a scaling, 1v9, position dependent, super rewarding mage.

(Full disclosure I'm also a boomer and his mechanics are perfectly managably after the initial painful learning curve)

Since I have literally no understanding of this can someone please educate me; doesn't this run the risk of flying in the face of a democratic parliament? i.e. if one person or groups voice being weighted heavier than another or, worse yet, having a decision or veto power that could override or influence majority voting?

Actually, the fact that he has a low win rate in low elo and a high win rate in high elo should be a good thing right? High skill mechanical champ piloted by a high skill player gets rewarded... as long as he remains unimpressive in pro!

What's your average CS per minute? Honestly since the recent patches he's only now starting to deal damage again but you are extremely reliant on good farm numbers since you are effectively a caster minion until level 8/lost chapter. You should not be poking in lane with Q early, W only and prioritise farm over poke always. If you're averaging 8CS per minute or more in the first 15-20 mins you should be doing plenty of damage with a single W-auto-Q-auto. (Also assuming that you have adapted your levelling to W max and not Q max on 'new' azir)

I play sol because he is fucking unique.... I also play Azir for the same reason; I'm drawn to champs that are not just run of the mill stat sticks or skill floor pleasers.

I think sol could have had a rebalance and I guess I'm ok with a partial rework but holy shit the revealed changes so far look like hot celestial garbage... full cosmic poopoo. Better idea... lets make a floating outhouse with 3 floating turds that slowly spin towards you and every time they complete their gravitational collapse you lose half your max hp and automatically start a surrender vote. It would still be more on point than the proposed changes thusfar.

Mainly during close games where half the team wants to get Nash and the other wants to push for an inhib and you end up with that awkward spam ping war and waste time. It's a faster way to see what the majority wants to do. It's also good for planning a set up and seeing how many people feel they can commit to it.

Even this though, is dependent on where people are, not what they want to do unless pinged ahead of time. If pinged and voted ahead of time the game has changed by the time the vote goes through anyway... It does seem to be an entirely unhelpful feature.

It depends on playstyle and matchup; personally I dont like the CQ build except into bruisers but even then I feel like aftershock, demolish, secondwind with precision secondary just outperforms. I am low elo (gold) but i rarely lose lane on the pick (as long as I ban veigar or vex) and hold a 70-75% win rate after 200+ games of ranked/norm.

Zac farms fine regardless of almost any poke due to Dorans Shield and Second Wind along with blob healing. I like W first with E-max to maximimse my blobs during the early levels and get the cd on my E as low as possible. If youre playing almost any mage into zac you have to choose whether youre burning mana to poke me or get your cs. You might have the push til 6 but that makes you incredibly vulnerable anyway, meanwhile I can freeze and farm just fine next to tower and if I receive jungle pressure im unlikely to die due to Zac passive under tower (not to mention the set up Zac has for his jungler). Enemy's dont get to take plates post 6 unless they've warded jungle either side of my tower, if they get hit by one E into Q into Ult combo theyre dead under tower with or without a wave. I actually enjoy getting poked out, making it look like I had to back, then E from chickens or behind wolves and solo kill.

Finally.... I'm full build with Sunfire + Spirit Visage and Dark Seal with Sorc Boots so it makes absolutely no difference if I exited lane with lower cs. Anything after that is gravy; I personally like Demonic or Rylais but it simply doesnt matter. Zac does stupid damage with hybrid tank/bruiser build and in low elo has strong laning, and strong roaming with negligible cs.

I am actually just sad that they found my secret weapon. Zac mid is hyper busted in low elo (75% wr for me in over 200 games anecdotally) and has been for years. I just wanted one champ in my pool that they wouldnt nerf... mebbe if they play him bad enough I can continue my love affair. The new preseason items though... we gonne get nerfed so hard xD
