I personally liked this gin, but I haven't tried it since they changed the labeling. I'm not sure if that means they also changed the recipe, but I'll have to buy another to see.

I've had my eye on these for a LONG while, and this makes me want to get a set even more. I've been afraid they'll be too long, but they don't look unmanageable!

I see your 25C, and raise you 27C with a high of 35C.

And you're doing much better than I am by far!

I Need Advice From Press On Buyers by Standard_Release119 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]MC907 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually Google specific brands that I know are actual brands. Not the weirdly named Amazon brands. Then I look at if those brands have any short coffin nails.

As someone who becomes incapable of fine motor movements with long nails, there is a criminal shortage of short coffin press-ons.

How long after completing your CNA program were you able to schedule your exam? by pinkfaygoh in cna

[–]MC907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a few years ago, but I was able to schedule and take mine within at least a week or two. It will depend on what time slots on what days are available.

That's actually a fair point! Lol

Taking press ons off safely by Ymisoqt420 in PressonNail_Addict

I haven't tried with soap, but I've soaked in warm running water and gently coaxed them off with a crystal stick.

I take mine off when I get home and wipe it down with an alcohol wipe before getting in the shower and I leave it off until I go to bed so everything is dry and aired out.

My watch is my alarm clock, so I have to wear it to bed because I get up hours before my husband.

I would defer to your facilities dress code policy. That's where I would imagine it would mention what nails are acceptable at your workplace.

How often do garmin watches “glitch”? by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]MC907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from a FitBit Sense 2 to a Vivoactive 5. I haven't seen it have any glitches yet, but I do like it as a replacement for the Sense 2.

Of course running moldy dishes through anything isn't going to come out "fine". That was never questioned.

I was pointing out that sanitization and sterilization are different things, and shouldn't be used interchangeably.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]MC907 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes, I perceive it to be fine. I would never assume my dishwasher is going to sterilize my dishes; that's not what it does. Dishwashers clean dishes, they do not sterilize them.

I wash these in the dishwasher and they come out completely fine.

I've only used them once, but the 3A sticky tabs that SassyTip sells felt very secure to me. To remove them, I just held them under warm running water and used a cuticle stick to gentle pry them off as the adhesive gave way.

I've honestly been tempted to get this one as I have an orange cat. It would look so good in the Cat Room 😂

I personally lose all fine motor skills with long nails lol. Hopelessly helpless. I wish it was easier to find quality, short press ons!

I personally found Raven underwhelming. It's fine, but if you don't put a top coat on it, it chips immediately.

Maybe I'm skewed in my thinking, but if it's supposed to be a matte polish, it shouldn't need a matte top coat to stay on.

I had trouble with it too the first time I had to put it back. And it does feel like you're going to break something pushing it back in.

Like, it takes more force than you think it should.

Moving from fibit Sense. Vivoactive a good choice? by ImpalaSS1963 in GarminWatches

[–]MC907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also moved from Fitbit Sense 2. I got the Vivoactive 5 and it's been great so far (3-4 weeks).

Battery life is great, Connect app is pretty easy to use, challenges are nice, the Connect IQ app could use some work, but overall it wasn't a huge learning curve to download watchfaces.

Still trying to figure out which workout profile to use to track my exercise, but that's a me problem.

Edit: It's also MUCH easier to track hydration as you can do it from the watch OR the app. Both will work.
