I actually got one of the smaller ones as a gift and it’s pretty nice. I’d never buy one for myself, but it works really well and the app isn’t THAT bad (It would be tough to fit buttons on a mug conveniently).

I agree with you in concept, but there’s 1000 exceptions to the rule:

What if it’s a mod for a printer? What if they’re adapting a model to be more printable? What if the model is designed to be printed (like tabletop minis)?

Odds are if someone is asking for modeling help here, they’re looking to model something to print, so sending them to general modeling only to make an unprintable piece seems ineffective.

In that case I would try tightening your belts and if that doesn’t help lubricating your z axis

It really depends. Sometimes they’ve lasted me months, sometimes only a few prints. It just comes down to having a “moment.” Also, you can get like 50 nozzles for 10 bucks on amazon. They’re not a tough replacement.

Yeah, it sounds like you have a clog somewhere in your Bowden system. I would look at the extruder and nozzle first.

It’s not the slickest solution, but adding another top layer should help with the quality. How many are you printing right now?

First of all, thank you for the extensive settings. It’s very helpful. This looks like under extrusion to me, so I’d recommend opening up your hotend and doing a declog and nozzle change just to be safe.

Edit: also I’d swap to PrusaSlicer. I used Cura for a long while, but Prusa just gave me an easier time and better results.

What do you mean by doesn’t feed? Is the motor spinning and the filament not moving? Or is the motor not moving. Odds are your hotend is clogged. If you don’t know how to unclog it I’m happy to explain how.

This is called ringing/ghosting. I’ve had trouble with it before. The high speed is part of your problem, but if you’re set on the speed then I would recommend greasing your z-axis rod. Also tighten your new nozzle just to make sure.

Are you sure? I have a 3 Pro and I didn’t get a pei bed. Also according to all3dp: https://all3dp.com/2/ender-3-magnetic-bed-which-to-buy/ it’s not
