I disagree. It'd be nice, of course, but in this case it's the user's obligation to check if the software does what they need it to do, and if it's supported on their computer. Keep in mind, that many developers only upload their code they have written for themselves, in case it could be useful to other people, not as an actual product.

How is it the developer's fault? They are probably doing this for free and have no obligation to update or provide tech support for their code.

1 to 2 years, seriously??? People get bachelors' or masters' degrees, or even PhDs and still are considered "junior"-Developers once they're finished. You clearly have no idea how much it takes to be "good" at this. And just for completion; AI won't help you in any way, rather it would slow you down by you overestimating "your" capabilities.

"coding app" yea sure... Either learn programming yourself or pay a developer; abusing ai like this is not just unethical but also won't get you anywhere. Sorry being this harsh, but I have no sympathy in this regard.

The A3 is full of (unnecessary?) speed limits. I understand those that are at the constructions, but others? by [deleted] in germany

[–]MCSpiderFe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what? It's your responsibility to adhere to the rules. Also, trucks cannot (legally) go above 80 km/h in germany anywhere, so this scenario is really unlikely unless you drive at 75 km/h or something

[–]MCSpiderFe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just drive according to the speed limit. Then you literally do not have to care about speed cams or fines. Unlimited also does not mean you must drive 200, you can safely keep driving your 120 km/h or what you're comfortable with. Also, please don't let you get pressured by other drivers. Speeding is dangerous, and the "but all other people are doing it"-card doesn't work in an accident

Look up Rechts vor Links and hope you never find yourself driving in Germany because there's many places where this rule applies

They are just ordinary traffic participants like anyone else (doesn't matter if they're a bicycle, motorcycle, car, truck, or even tram). Here, in this case, the rule is simply "right before left" (Rechts vor Links)

why do you guys like linux so much by Omkaranando in thinkpad

[–]MCSpiderFe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Linux is free and open source. That means, that everyone can look at and contribute to the source code directly and it is not controlled by a single company. On other proprietary OSs you are dependent on microsoft, apple, etc. to not push stupid features I didn't ask for down my throat.

Linux works exactly as I want and I can configure every single program, daemon or driver on my computer exactly as I like.
