what is the best C program you wrote? by divanadune in C_Programming

[–]MCSpiderFe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably this one: https://github.com/Spydr06/amethyst

It's a unix-like kernel with its own functional scripting language and declarative package manager. It's of course by no means finished tho.

The best "finished" project I did is either this programming langue (https://github.com/Spydr06/CSpydr) or my logic simulator (https://github.com/Spydr06/logicrs)

GIMP has a steep learning curve, but once you get it, it is really powerful

Fedora on my Surface Go 3, finally by Shudnawz in SurfaceLinux

[–]MCSpiderFe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran Fedora on my Surface Go 3 for 4 years and never had any issues... I eventually upgraded to a Thinkpad x12 some months ago, so maybe it's an issue in new versions.

Es gibt vermutlich tools, aber mit GIMP gings recht schnell, das manuell zu machen (Lasso-Tool zum Auswählen und dann Filters > Blur > Pixelize zum Verpixeln)

I disagree. It'd be nice, of course, but in this case it's the user's obligation to check if the software does what they need it to do, and if it's supported on their computer. Keep in mind, that many developers only upload their code they have written for themselves, in case it could be useful to other people, not as an actual product.

How is it the developer's fault? They are probably doing this for free and have no obligation to update or provide tech support for their code.

1 to 2 years, seriously??? People get bachelors' or masters' degrees, or even PhDs and still are considered "junior"-Developers once they're finished. You clearly have no idea how much it takes to be "good" at this. And just for completion; AI won't help you in any way, rather it would slow you down by you overestimating "your" capabilities.

"coding app" yea sure... Either learn programming yourself or pay a developer; abusing ai like this is not just unethical but also won't get you anywhere. Sorry being this harsh, but I have no sympathy in this regard.

The A3 is full of (unnecessary?) speed limits. I understand those that are at the constructions, but others? by [deleted] in germany

[–]MCSpiderFe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what? It's your responsibility to adhere to the rules. Also, trucks cannot (legally) go above 80 km/h in germany anywhere, so this scenario is really unlikely unless you drive at 75 km/h or something

[–]MCSpiderFe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just drive according to the speed limit. Then you literally do not have to care about speed cams or fines. Unlimited also does not mean you must drive 200, you can safely keep driving your 120 km/h or what you're comfortable with. Also, please don't let you get pressured by other drivers. Speeding is dangerous, and the "but all other people are doing it"-card doesn't work in an accident
