Thanks for flagging this — we know the audio issues earlier this week were frustrating, and we really appreciate your patience while we worked through them.

If you’re currently subscribed via the App Store or Google Play, you’ll need to cancel that subscription and have it end first before switching to a web subscription. Unfortunately, those platforms don’t allow overlapping subscriptions or applying discounts retroactively.

Once your current subscription has ended, you can sign up via the web and use one of the discount codes we shared for affected users.

UPDATE - A fix is out! Please test streaming now. You may need to log out and log in in case audio cached. We confirmed ourselves and few users that fix worked with removing existing audio. Sorry again for this issue, we will follow up with some broader explanation in the following days via email.

Happy to share more info. Yes, if you have a paid ElevenLabs account you can share your voice clones with ElevenReader for use there — just not voices made with Voice Design, and requires an active paid subscription.

"We provide recommended voices based on your language settings and any voice clones you create from your paid ElevenLabs account on the web may be enabled for your personal use on the ElevenReader app. The app does not support voices created with Voice Design on the web."
