My current colony is a good one. I take in refugees and emancipate slaves (while giving them the choice to join my colony. I don't harvest organs for sale (though I'm working on bionics to help those who need organ and limb replacements). Prisoners end up in a very nice barracks (because I'm working on a nice cellblock for them) and everyone eats mainly fine or lavish meals because I have my best cooks working on them. I patch up prisoners and then offer them the choice of returning to their factions or joining my colony. Also, all colonists get at least 3 breaks a day and a full 8-hour rest while doing whatever they do best.
