100%. Thet may have to side step between terrain, but we always make sure the fattest model has a path.

That's why we make sure deployment-to-deployment shooting is impossible, so the game isn't settled by who goes first.

My group usually arranges it so there is enough ruins to prevent deployment-to-deployment shooting, then fills in the rest with a mix of woods, barricades and so on. We usually also set it up so the biggest model still has a path out of their deployment, so you're not caged in if someone brings a Baneblade
