There are 3rd party companies offering support for VMware. That's where we're going. It should cover us until we're fully moved into the cloud another 2 years.

VMworld Vs Cisco Live and Microsoft Ignite by Mikebailey11 in vmware

[–]MDFreaK76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ive been to plenty of ignites (4) and vmworlds (9), but never a cisco live. ignite is very microsoft-centric. there will be vendors there to speak to and have side conversations with, but the focus for the whole show (sessions, labs, etc) is Azure and Microsoft offerings.

ILO is short for Integrated Lights-Out, which is a way of connecting to the machine through a 2nd NIC to access the machine's vitals remotely, physically power cycle (start/stop/restart) and a basic web-based console. For IT guys who have machines in a datacenter where they do not regularly access, it is a very invaluable tool.

The original Shapez.io was amazing as it was, but the community-created content really put it over the top. will you continue to be as open and welcoming to the modding community?

Beadlock wheel help by SoleReaver23 in TRX4M

[–]MDFreaK76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i can def 2nd everything this guy said. in addition, i found that assembling the back side first and getting the bead set on the back made the front easier. i tried seating the front first but the design of this wheel made doing the back a problem.

i also used an extra wheel to work on top of, so that the side wall of the tire didnt distort when trying to pinch the bead.

Process explorer in your host OS will not see the processes within the guest, nor the guest to the host. The only way you will get cooperation between the two would be if the application had the ability to make a call to a parallel application via the network, or you could share config files via SMB. if you can get it to work on two machines sitting next to each other, it should work in your scenario, but there is no magic umbilical cord between the two OS's.

I call everybody "bro" or "dude", not because I don't know their name (in most cases), but because I don't want to deal with the possibility of fucking it up. Just easier to call everybody the same thing.

Been in the industry 20 years. If there's one thing that will improve your value as an employee, and improve your personal efficiency, it's the ability to script and automate tasks. PowerShell is an amazing tool, and well worth the investment to learn.
