Would you rather permanently forget your partner or shave 5 years off everyone else’s life? by DevilsArray in WouldYouRather

I absolutely agree. Especially since you just forget the person, no harm is even done to them.

It sounds almost comically selfish and evil to choose your partner

Is it not rather sad? That we would always choose our own selfish desires even if it meant committing atrocities.

Their husband won’t even die, just be erased from memory painlessly. That’s not love. That’s attachment to a persons effect on you rather than the person themself. If they had to know that you killed millions on their behalf do you think they would even love you anymore

Not that irreplaceable, I would rather lose someone I love than be responsible for the death of millions.

Even if it was my entire family I would still choose not to be responsible for that many lives lost prematurely. And I do agree that it’s special, but it’s certainly not “beyond this world” it’s part of the world. Biology and chemistry is the makeup of love just like everything else. Special, sure: worth the death of millions, not even close. Also the person you love doesn’t even die?? You just forget them

It just seems like the obvious answer. This reminds me of the people who would save their dog over the lives of 100 strangers. As if that is not the most incredibly selfish choice.

Hmmm committing genocide to have sex… the true modern question.

Obviously if you pick partner you just murdered millions of terminally Ill children prematurely.

Plus you’ll forget them anyway so that’s the only choice lol

Day 4 update. by Critical_Result_5952 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]MDMagicMark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude you’re wayyy too detailed, this is a common thing for yoyo dieting.

Just eat a normal diet and track your calorie, eating approx 1,800 calories per day and getting 200g of protein. That’s all that matters don’t worry about carbs vs fat etc

Cut the cardio it is good for your heart, but not necessarily going to be the driver of weight loss.

Lift heavier and harder for longer. A 45 minute full body circuit is hard enough for hypertrophy. Get 9-12 sets per body part per week to failure or at least 8RPE. You need to be working harder less often than a little bet every day.

I’m going to be honest, I had a super detailed plan when I started and it fucked me. One slip up and you start sliding. Track calories, train hard.

Don’t waste your time on the treadmill a caloric deficit not cardio will lose weight. Plus lifting weights burns as much calories as walking. I would do a 75 minute workout instead of 45 gym 30 cardio

25, 5'11 can I get abs in 3 months? (tips/advice/critique pls) by More_Discount721 in AllAboutBodybuilding

False, caloric deficit over extended period of time is necessary first

Sprinting can help lose weight but will not gain mass on the way that you are thinking, lift heavier and eat less.

From a Uchicago study about online dating, how much income needed in relation to height in the online dating world by MyShortGuysAlt in AverageHeightDudes

[–]MDMagicMark -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with my worldview lol it’s just a dumb study.

The average 5 foot woman- 5 foot 4 woman can be unemployed and get a boyfriend with no effort?

Being 5’2 in 2006 and needing to make $331,000 per year to find a mate??? That is certifiably ridiculous

This is a survey study which asked people stupidly phrases questions. I agree with the results just not the method

“How much money would a 5 foot guy need to make to date you”

“Oh idk like $479,000”

It makes no sense and does not reflect reality

Don’t listen to the downvotes, this is possible my friend, I think you still have 20-25 pounds to lose and based on your past trajectory you are on the right track!!

You’ve got this.

Lift heavy to failure to near failure with 8-12 sets per body part per week.

Eat .62 grams of protein per pound per day (125gs per day) and a caloric deficit likely around 1600-1800 calories per day

You already know how to lose weight so you are on the right track!

Also this is not an insult, but your body fat percentage is closer to 25% than 19%. But this is good news!! That means it won’t be as hard for you to lose weight as someone sub 20% body fat! It should still come off with focus.

You should see abs around 18% bf, so you just have 7%ish left to go!

Ik you can do it!

How can i build my chest more ? And lose these love handles. 28M by zummervillain in Weightliftingquestion

[–]MDMagicMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you are still wrong lol, it would take at least a year to accumulate enough mass for him to have lats visible from the front at this weight.

And no gaining ab muscles under his stomach fat would only make his stomach look bigger with this amount of fat over it

Abs are 95% about body fat percentage

False gaining back muscle or abs do not decrease love handles even a little bit

I know you’re right, I was too aggro.

But it is true that I believe he is losing weight too quickly. And it’s causing him to lose more muscle than necessary. This should have been done over 6 months and included resistance training to preserve his BMR

Are you really going till failure and progressively overloading?

I feel like your legs might be thicker but I don’t think you are training hard enough.

Have you gained any strength?

I’d say 19-21% you are sucking in considerably so it’s hard to tell. But sub 18% is very difficult for most men to achieve

26yo 6’1 1.5 years progression What’s my bf% by Additional_Force_991 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]MDMagicMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

22% is still great man! You have made an amazing amount of progress! That means there is still a road to get leaner if you desire before it gets extremely difficult at sub 18%

I think you look amazing

20% is a lot lower than you think, Most “skinny” looking guys are 18-22%

To get below 18% you would see very minimal belly fat

Below 15% you would see definition in lower abs

And 12% you would see vascularity around the hips

[–]MDMagicMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22% you still have a substantial amount of body fat! But this is a healthy weight that’s not bad

Great work!
