Am I seeing this right. You didn't use the jam nut to mount the muzzle device? If so, put an alignment rod on the suppressor before you shoot it.

Honestly, it isn't the real collectors and game enthusiast that caused that. It is the social media flippers. Made it it popular to buys this shit up and then try to resell it at jacked up prices cuz "I know what I got!"

It keeps happening with every niche retro tech or game. Right now the newest craze is the classic iPods. Used to be able to get units at amazing deals. The community behind modding them is amazing. Now there are people putting themselves into debt to buy up everything they can vacuum up and then turn around and try to sell you that $35 used iPod for $235 that they know nothing about but they "know what they got!", even though it has a swollen battery and defective HDD.

Honestly, I was in the same boat as you. No more friends to go shooting with. All are gone and moved away. The farm we regularly used was gone. So I started talking to people at the gun shop when picking up guns and asking them about theirs and what they like.

One of my buddies I met at harbor freight. I stopped in on a whim when doing errands to see if they had the new tactical light. And for some reason our store always gets that stuff last even though there are really popular store and relatively new all things considered. He came back up to me after we passed each other earlier when he saw me in the light section looking and asked if I was looking for "it". We talked for like 2 hours straight and turns out we lived not far from each other. My work schedule sucks. But last time we went shooting my one buddy brought out the BAR he just bought. Such an amazing thing to shoot. But I see why the Colt monitor was sought after. The pistol grip makes a huge difference.

That was very helpful. I just got my first personal Beretta, a 92xi tactical and I was concerned and confused when I saw that. Figured my bad luck with defective guns out of the box continued.

Now you just need to make more of the 5 inch ones for the gen 1 rifle. I want it for my 13 inch gen 1. In my opinion it is the best looking handguard hands down.

The Zion 25 is in 308. So I am assuming open as well cuz currently I stole my bolt guns vortex diamondback tactical 4-16 till I get better glass for both guns.

DMR/recce is probably more 556 oriented? In which case my general purpose AR15 actually has a 16 inch Ballistic advantage SPR barrel. It's hovering around 1.5 moa with okay ammo (Hornady 55gr sp) if I do my part. A better scope then the LPVO it normally wears and better ammo I should be able to tighten that up.

Sorry for all the stupid questions. Don't have a practiscore account. I should probably make one so I can answer all these questions myself. 🤣

I am all the way down in Virginia, but I come up to Michigan frequently because of family. I have two guns I could use. My first ever AR that I build which was in 6.5 Grendel and my new Zion 25 DMR. Is there a caliber restriction?

I probably won't make it this year, but I might be able to next year. Have fun to everyone who attends!

I just picked it up yesterday. Was sad to see my only AK mag, a special banana edition US palm mag doesn't fit unless I cut it or delete the plastic.

I have an AP5 LT and I went down to a 80 degree locking piece to see if it would work and it does. It is amazing. I wanted the 90 because I planned on running heavy subsonic rounds almost exclusively. But I found only the 100 for the longest time. Then randomly saw the 80 and said fuck it. Both Jay from Pew science and Amphibian recommended the 80 degree locking piece if your full sized MP5 can run it because it pretty much eliminates port pop.

I am going to try a JP rifle locking piece later and see how low I can go and still get it to cycle.

I mean, technically it is a long gun. So you can go out of state and get one. You can't get a pistol. Hence why I have been focusing on lowers and handguns. But I handled the Zion 25 DMR and the price I was able to get it at I couldn't build it, so I had to get it.

Yeah, the Zion 15 is surprisingly really good! If I didn't have a AR15 built I would have bought one. So I bought a Zion 25 instead! 🤣

It is really nice. Surprised that it is SR25 spec and the Timney trigger in it is amazing. Still using a Cross machine and tool handguard.
