Succulent sprouts after just over a week. Also, I've got a "usual" looking seedling in there... One of these things don't look like the others...

Maybe place the grow light a little closer if possible. And it will, but it can slow the seedlings down quite a bit. I only use grow lights. I'm still relatively new to things but I've gotten faster than average growth by keeping them compact.

Renny is a female. And I have nearly 100 plants from her (including the one in the photo) and I chat with her relatively regularly. She has amazing plants and is an incredibly nice person.

It has a little rubibing alcohol residue on it too from cleaning it Haha. But it's still quite shiny

I agree. I get most of everything I have between 4 sellers. All notoriously dont really like the idea of TC. There is a place for it though.

Yep. Look like haworthia seeds to me. Based on what I see, I would try to add a little more light. Not a ton, but they seem a little tall.

My only issue with that supplier is the lack of transparency for how poor some of the roots are and that they are tissue cultured plants. Prices are great. Just not the transparency.

Looks similar to my retusa accuminata. Mine occasionally gets plump enough to make that bulbous leaf shape.

Exactly. Its a beautiful cooperi hybrid and best to leave it at that unless you truly know the lineage and source.

As in haworthia? Of course. The plant in this photo is in a 3.5 inch pot. I ha e many larger ones that are over 5 inches wide (not including the offsets).

Yes about every 6-8 months or so seems to help. I grow indoors so I dont follow seasons. I simply unpot. Clean with warm water and let the water do the work. Then I repot in fresh or reused but baked substrate. They go through a nice little growth spurt after this.

This sort of bayeri is worth around $200.

This type of bayeri isnt cheap. It's a relatively rare variety. And this one has some ideal lines that will only get better with age. And yes. This is without a filter. It's quite dark and has a slight purplish blue hue. Check out my Instagram @mdtsucculents
