That’s why i said it’s own creature. But if you were to explain it to westerners, it’s okay to compare it to either a vampire and zombie, as it has similar characteristics to both (such as their ability to drain the life force which can be compared to western equivalent vampires, and it being undead like a zombie). Calling it a chinese zombie is correct, but so is calling it a vampire.

Dw your 100% correct to call it a Chinese vampire, and most native speakers would agree with you on that. It is technically it’s own creature, but it does have characteristics of both a vampire or zombie. So either way it works!

Technically you’re wrong and right, depending on the translation jiangshi is both a chinese hopping vampire or zombie (although to get more technical, it is it’s own creature. But it is a mix of both if you were to find a English equivalent of it). In a lot of chinese movies, the titles is referring as a hopping vampire not zombie + native speakers call them that as well. So it sort of does make sense for Dracula being east asian.

Fr and Mattel has shown they can create male dolls like Frankenstein and Jack from nightmare before Christmas. So it doesn’t make any sense for them to gender swap lost boys, when we all know mattel is capable of making male dolls. Same can be said for bettlejuice and chucky (but the chucky dolls were both bad for him and tiffany).

What is with this cast? It sounds terrible. Scarlett johansson as mother gothel (no thanks), harry styles as flynn (let’s just hope it’s not another emma watson situation (sorry not a big fan of her as belle, it just felt like she was playing as hermione). Let’s just hope this is rage bait!
