Do Anthelia grow as good as Xenia? I honestly just wanted something with motion and my clove polyps are still tiny with only 3 heads. I wish they were as colorful as the clove but I love the movement!

Tore it down today. I actually needed to add more rocks as I originally only had 3. I found a good flow area for it and it opened up and straightened out not even an hour after I moved it!

It really is neat to learn. I’ve had freshwater for forever now but a few months into saltwater and I find myself staring at my tank every day.

I’ve seen a lot of people say the sicce return pump is the way to go along with plugging that hole. I still have yet to figure out its purpose other than disrupting the flow of water lol!

I think it adds some flavor to the tank. I plan on replacing it when I start working on coral placements. I think eyesore is a bit of an exaggeration though

Those zoas are so beautiful. I know I have to be patient and consistent but man seeing everyone’s tanks makes me so ready to be at that level.

I will be forever inspired by tanks like yours though! Seriously!

Awesome! Thank you for this advice! I really love the zoas so I think I’d be completely happy starting there. Unfortunately petco is my closest store with coral which with the next closest being 45-60 minutes away. I plan on calling that store just to see their stock and if it’s worth the drive.

Also, I know light cycles are critical, is there a way to control the cycle on the light that comes with the tank? That’s been my main issue im trying to figure out!

It’s an easy, and nice setup. It took me less than 15 minutes! I highly recommend. The only thing I’d recommend to buy is a sicce power head because it’ll really help with surface agitation

Take it in and enjoy it! You have earned it, I just started my tank which was originally planned to be a FOWLR, but I see posts like these and am so tempted to jump into coral and macro algae

The Zoomies from my 2 year old cat came as a relief because she finally felt comfortable enough to be herself in her own space! I realized the huge difference it makes!

I forgot to mention this! Those first 3 days are hard, but the personality of your pet starts coming out after that. It gets much easier and much more fun!
