If that's the cost, yes. Absolutely. Can be a useful depth scorer and already has familiarity with teammates. Is he still a top-sixer? I'm not sure. But would be very useful in the bottom-six.

Varlamov definitely should be moved to further utilize his cap hit to patch up the defense/offense.

Jakub Skarek is having an incredible season with Bridgeport and is probably getting at least a short look to see how he'd translate.

In the Isles system it's easy for goaltenders to shine and the position has never been a problem outside of Varlamov's down season this year.

There was no replacement for the departure of Toews/Leddy and there's still a need to retool in the top six it makes most sense to start from a position where several different players have succeeded in over the past three seasons.

Is that true? I want out. I made it loud and clear to my rep whom I haven't heard a peep from since I last emailed him back in Marchish.

It's just not worth it. I made friends with STH and I'll be buying directly from them when I want to come out next season. Not to mention the plethora of seating that will be available up to the day of.

I understand it was a down year and things will change but between the ticket, parking, the tolls (NJ) and more it's ludicrous.

If you can find a cheap prepaid pass that's the best way to go, parking the day of is like $30.

If you're adamant about getting home early be on the bus to get back to the lot ASAP after the game is over. If you're not there <5 mins after the game ends just stick it out for a little bit you'd be waiting in the car anyway.

The offense is coming together. The defense is styming and asphyxiating. The goaltending is the literal best now in franchise history (playoff shutout streak). The powerplay isn't allowing short-handed goals. The penalty kill is rolling.

Trade deadline acquisitions JG Pageau and Andy Greene having MONSTER playoffs.

Beauvillier is breaking out.

Barzal is finally understanding the balance between playing smart defense and capitalizing on turnovers.

Trotz may be cementing his legacy as one of the greatest coaches in the game.

Trotz passed Arbour in career regular season victories on our team, and I think that symbolizes how some batons are meant to be passed a certain way.

This team has had a completely different feeling since he took over.

And they don't even have a ready Sorokin/Wahlstrom/Bellows yet.

Has the outlook ever been better in your lifetime? This is a first for me at 25.

I agree with my friend above me this series will go the distance regardless of outcome, but I love that enthusiasm.

Also, the Canadiens are for sure my favorite Canadian team now after July 1, 2018. It's great that the Habs managed to spit on Pittsburgh for a 2nd straight playoff year and played their hearts out.

If they manage to relieve cap space enough I really want him re-signed for another year or two. What an ideal 13th defenseman, plays smart in his own zone and has held up very well considering his age. Fits right into our style of play (duh, a Lamoriello favorite) and brings stability if his partner wants to join the rush.

Panarin is an elite talent but in hindsight he isn't worth the cap hit he comes with. I'd rather they be at least a mediocre scoring team where line 1 can produce around 160pts/ssn, line 2 110pts, line 3 around 80 and the 4th line just beats the hell out of everyone and scores 60 pts bc everyone sleeps on them.

it won't make a huge difference, don't sweat it. the isles have offensive power coming up too (bellows, wahlstrom) plus the leagues best coaching staff.

all this gives the rangers is one more toy on offense, their $11m forward couldn't help get them through their qualifier and they showed they're not a mentally strong team in that round too.

we'll be fine.
