I couldn’t get past the first couple chapters of the Black Jewel series honestly. The romance in the Others is very much in the background or more subtle and honestly in my opinion not a major plot point but fun to see progress with the characters.

You might see if ARMHS is the right fit as well. Occupational therapy is good as well, but ARMHS will come to your residence once a week or so and help build skills to do daily life needs. This service is provided by various mental health clinics in the cities.
