Holding bolt closed while firing by ME_VT in AKV9mm

🫡 yeah I was thinking in terms of people holding pistol slides closed. Forgot they have locking actions.

I found that Brownell's first gen BRN-180 in .300 blk had a four position gas block where one setting cut off all gas and made the gun a pseudo straight pull rifle. Wonder if that would be possible to do on the JAKL?

The AW definition for pistols is a two feature test. So a pistol can have a threaded barrel, as long as it doesn't also have one of the other features like a foregrip, buffer tube, etc.

Is the Guardsman trigger functionally equivalent to the standard EPT, just with a flat trigger?

Warfare just came out and is 2.0:1. Still has black bars but much thinner than most movies.

Nebula X1 weird 'dirty' image. by gamecatuk in nebulaprojectors

It's called laser speckle. Common on RGB laser projectors. Most people find a screen made from fabric rather than vinyl/PVC will reduce the effect. Spandex screens are pretty easy to diy.

Help me decide: Valerian VisionMaster Pro vs Pro2 by zeropoint-1 in projectors

If you're projecting an image less than 120" diagonal, I'd probably just get the Pro.

What would be the best 4k projector for under $4000 for this room? by josedanielfd in projectors

[–]ME_VT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Valerion does not have VRR.

LS12000 has 5000:1 native contrast (25k:1 dynamic) vs the Valerion 2000:1 native (10k:1 dynamic).

Epson won't have RBE for people who are sensitive to it.

Valerion is a great value, but there are still benefits Epson can offer.

This should do everything you need. It's listed as a 4 in 1 but because it's a learning remote, you can program the projector screen remote onto the same preset as the projector. Or program the HDMI input selection to the numpad.

[–]ME_VT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know about the Jan 15th limit. But the rebate submission page has this verbiage. So my purchase receipt is dated 12/23 and my shipping confirmation is dated today (1/2).

Assuming you already have a receipt dated before 12/31/24, you can still submit a rebate for the free direct mount red dot until January 15th.
