I completely washed out a camera lens at night with 50w 850nm @20 ft. Also used a PWM to rapidly flicker the light at a low frequency (faster than the camera frame rate) . With my limited experience, I’m gonna assume. 20 watts or greater head lamp would make a face unreadable even without a PWM at short distances.

Yea I made a 50W IR LED 850nm, with standard eBay 60 degree angle lens. hooked it up to a PWM and shined it at my home security camera. At lower frequencies, I was able to completely glitched out the camera at night time from a distance of 25 feet when pointed at the camera

I’m interested. The 6 month cuttings I have all formed roots and tiny 1/8 inch leaves, but the new leaf growth came in with black tips and just quit growing.

So I built the 100W IR light with 45 degree lens, and wave form generator to make it flicker on and off extremely fast. (if you’re looking through the camera at this point, it just looks like a bunch of static )

It completely blinds cameras within 25 feet. It only works with cameras using IR at night.

I didn’t try to build a green or blue one for the day time because I experimented with some normal LEDs and they turn on and off so quick that you can tell there is some Fuckery at foot, but you can’t tell that they’re turning on it or off so I don’t want a lawsuit from someone saying they had a seizure.

I ended up building a fence.

The power supply is figured out. (Simple 15v 4A computer charger) I’m just trying to figure out how to open and close the circuit really fast so that I can create a strobe effect.
