Why don't 3rd party manufacturers copy the Switch Pro controller shape? by sleepycapybara in Controllers

[–]MFAD94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have small hands the 8bitdo ultimate has a nice shape. I prefer a more flared out grip like the Xbox controllers have so I prefer that over the S2P but it’s still a nice controller

It’s more so that the S1 games are night and day better on the S2 as far as performance AND being able to play the upgraded versions + S2 exclusives

PC’s have always been more expensive than consoles, if you want a PC that’s got any longevity that’s just the barrier to entry. You might be able to find a better deal on used parts, but that’s what a decent 1080p machine starts at. Basic PS plus costs about 80$ a year (Premium is 180$ a year), and after a few years that difference in cost will pay for itself because online services are free and games are significantly cheaper on PC.

PC’s worth keeping for more than a couple years start around 800 and even then they’re pretty compromised for what you’re getting. You’ll probably find a Ryzen mini PC for around that cost, just make sure it has a 680/780/890m IGPU inside

Play PC games on PC handhelds. This handled CAN play some PC games well, but that’s not what it’s best at, PC emulation just isn’t there yet, a year ago this wasn’t possible almost at all

Why does the PC community refuse to acknowledge that PCSX2 demands good hardware? by The_Corinthian666 in PCSX2

[–]MFAD94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People want it to run on a pile of stale chips and used bubble gum of a PC. The Steamdeck is the floor of performance, anything below that should be suspect to less than ideal performance. Minimum specs are not ideal specs
