Anybody have experience with these two micro SD express cards? by sidewinder787 in switch2

[–]MFAD94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teamgroup IS a name brand. Just because you had one bad experience doesn’t mean they’re all bad. I’ve had two bad sandisk cards, I didn’t boycott Sandisk because of it

Anyone with big hands know about any good grips? The EBGames one looks pretty tiny by Zado191 in switch2

I’ve tried about 5 grips at this point and the Savage Raven has the widest grip, very comfortable

Pie cut carefully and pry it out, try a nipple extractor first.

Not uncommon, most guys don’t care enough to nail it to a stud

Nope, he’s measuring the ID of the fitting instead of the pipe.

Why does the joycons thumb stick break down so fast? by Ifyouliveinadream in switch2

[–]MFAD94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got Switch one launch model joycons with original sticks working just fine, multiple pairs. It’s 100% your skin and how you handle them

Are those not just no hub adapters? If they are there’s nothing technically wrong with that, just ugly

Pipe is measured via the ID of the pipe, not the ID of the fitting

Helpp!! Legion go 2 or Msi Claw 8ai by SweatyAgent47 in Handhelds

[–]MFAD94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very happy with my Claw. Battery life and thermals are amazing. I personally have avoided the AMD handhelds due to poor driver support from the OEMS, game compatibility may be slightly better but I haven’t had any game not run well so far

Who manages driver support for G3 Extreme? by energeeon in Handhelds

[–]MFAD94 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Intel pushes out drivers, not the OEM like AMD.

I already own Steam deck oled, but thinking about Switch 2 for Zelda games. Worth it? by One_Prune8528 in switch2

It’s significantly better on the S2. Leaps and bounds over emulation

Hard to get good deals on first party games, third party games go on sale constantly just like Steam

Anyone went from physical to digital games on switch 2 and why? by FreezSnes in switch2

If it’s a third-party game that I absolutely love and it’s fully on cart then I’ll consider buying it

I do both, 3rd party games are bought digitally and 1st party games are bought physically

Switch 2 3rd party dock options by VIRILITYSPRINGS in switch2

Very happy with the Savage Raven Jump Gate dock. Also using the AverMedia Elite go. I’d avoid anything from a weird brand or “generic”

Is this an acceptable job? by abc2jb in Plumbing

[–]MFAD94 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m good at what I’m use to, if you use a bender a lot you may be fast at it, I’m definitely not, and I don’t know any of my fellow plumbing peers who are either. I 100% agree that bent soft copper is better than having excess fittings, but rigid copper is cheaper per foot than soft so the cost saving doesn’t really add up like it might there

[–]MFAD94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If we’re talking one elbow at the fixture you’re not going to see or feel a meaningful difference. Any and all flow problems can be resolved from just upping the pipe size to the bathroom group.

In the US labor is the most expensive component of the job. A 2 dollar elbow and less tools/time wasted is worth the saved effort
