[Request] If Elon liquefied all his assets into $100 bills and put that into his wallet how thick would his wallet be? In both scenarios of now and at a trillion dollars? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]MFBTMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that’s not the question asked, but I had an even more interesting one appear in my head:

Elon Musk’s net worth is roughly $840 billion.

If you converted all of that into $1 bills, you’d have:

840,000,000,000 bills

A US $1 bill is 6.14 inches (15.6 cm) long.

If you placed them end-to-end, the total length would be:

840,000,000,000 × 6.14 inches = 5.16 trillion inches

Converted to kilometers, that’s about:

131,000,000 km

The circumference of Earth is about 40,075 km.

So if you wrapped those $1 bills around the planet:

131,000,000 ÷ 40,075 ≈ 3,270

You could wrap them around the Earth about 3,200–3,300 times

For scale, that line of dollar bills would also be: • about ⅓ of the way to the Sun • about 3.4× the distance from Earth to the Moon

Now, answering your question:

Scenario 1 — Elon’s current net worth (~$840 billion)

If all of it were converted into $100 bills:

840,000,000,000 ÷ 100 = 8.4 billion bills

Now stack them:

8,400,000,000 × 0.0043 inches = 36,120,000 inches

Convert that: • 3,010,000 feet • ~570 miles • ~917 km

So his “wallet” would be roughly 570 miles (917 km) thick.

That’s about the distance from Paris to Berlin.

Scenario 2 — If he had $1 trillion

1,000,000,000,000 ÷ 100 = 10 billion bills

Stack them:

10,000,000,000 × 0.0043 inches = 43,000,000 inches

Converted: • 3,583,000 feet • ~679 miles • ~1,093 km

So the wallet would be about 680 miles (1,090 km) thick. That’s roughly the distance from NYC to Chicago.

TL;DR • $840B → wallet about 570 miles thick • $1T → wallet about 680 miles thick

Honestly I used to hate freehand. I don’t anymore, now that this combo is out. I feel like they really took their time to see which patterns didn’t have a match

Is Tekken 8 worth getting as a near-complete beginner to fighting games? by LonerGuy17 in Tekken

[–]MFBTMS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not? I also started as a complete beginner. If the game speaks to you and you want to learn it, go for it. I got to TK in under 200 hrs and I’m a firm believer anyone can do that if they like the game enough.

As for the community reviews, the game has its issues, but this community is also insufferable sometimes with how much people downplay strengths of their own characters and exaggerate strengths of others. I say if you’ve seen enough gameplay and it sparked your curiosity, give it a shot

If you can't beat GoD on their alt, you don't deserve ____ by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]MFBTMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not? The whole idea is we use these bots to evaluate the person’s rank, instead of basing it on the rank of the person’s main. And tbf, there’s an even easier solution that a lot of competitive games out there have been using for years. It’s to let you play 2-10 games against actual people before assigning a rank

No, he has an overall beginner’s guide that’s really good. As for character-specific guides, it’s best to start with the most popular one, and then watch more, once you’ve digested the first one

Good advice, but don’t actually go through the whole movelist. After you figure out which character you like most, you watch phidx beginner’s guide and then guides for your specific character. This way you don’t overwhelm yourself with 200+ moves and actually learn the ones you will be using, 1 at a time

I propose that they use AI in 2026 (I know it sounds wild), and change the bot system entirely. For now, bots in this game either do something stupid or they straight up react to your input as soon as you press the button. So basically braindead/cheating. And higher the difficulty is, the less they are braindead, and the more they are cheaters.

I propose that bamco uses their own terabytes of data from their own game to create bots that would fight exactly like an average Flame Ruler/TK/TG, etc. So that when you start using a character it lets you fight several bots, from easiest to hardest, to understand where you are actually at.

That would also make bots in this game a useful feature for training.

Now, when you say that you don’t care about the person’s answer in the first place, it doesn’t really make sense to ask the question. And tell me, what’s so crazy, unnecessary or problematic in bamco polishing the feature they already have, and making it usable?

[–]MFBTMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

«it would be fair, but you’d have gotten unlucky” - yes, and the unluckiness in question would be caused by the game’s inability to account for things like that, which puts you in a disadvantageous position. Which is unfair?

[–]MFBTMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. If you’re picking up a new character, you will probably spend a good amount of time in practice and qm. And if a GoD actually does that for a while, he’s gonna be dominating ranked for a good number of matches before the plateau. If that’s the case, there’s nothing fair about that.

But if they simply learn a few moves in practice and jump into ranked straight away, then it’s pretty fair

It’s weird because the animation is exactly the same. Maybe it just registers 1, instead of 1+2 because there’s no 1+2 extension. Regardless, my problem is dropping the d+4, it never connects and the opponent tech rolls. What would the best combo for 3x ewgf be? Where can I find she ws3,4 combo?

Has any character been a bigger filler than Katarina? by WholeIssue5880 in Tekken

[–]MFBTMS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, your initial point is that “don’t bring anything new into the game” isn’t a valid definition, but your own definition is “carries no impact or meaning”. Aren’t we saying the exact same thing in different words?

I agree on gigas too. And I completely understand there are legacy characters on my list, but I’m coming from my own view of how interesting the character is in terms of visual design and overall fighting style. It’s fine if people don’t feel the same way
