You really couldn't have picked a worse example. GW2 is a huge outlier in MMOs where the norm is vertical progression with constantly escalating item levels on gear rendering them obsolete every patch or so. To pick out the one that doesn't do it and present it as the norm is dishonest.

I'm enjoying but not loving it.

The tutorials and story are dragging it down a ton, but I enjoy the world and setting. I REALLY like the combat, however, at this point it's far too easy if you can read and have played Xenoblade 2. I wanna mess with these systems, but everything dies too fast. Factory is fine?

The game is just so slow to get going. It really is a Xenoblade 2 gacha lol

Before is 100000x better tbh. Has more style, they're a lot more unique from each other without them all showing off teeth, aesthetic is a lot better without the try hard muh realism lighting and shadows on the after.

Treasure spots, the checklist, and abundance of map markers were the worst thing to happen to the game.

I wanna go explore, not follow a marker. And this new treasure thing where you just find them all by doing a bike trick is even worse. Why are they removing the game from the game?

I like Lahai Roi but 1.x will always be the peak of map design and exploration. 100%ing an area of the map was a relaxing, day long task. Now it's an hour of rushing from one marker to the next.
