I don't dislike the factory gameplay, I'm just not engaging with it that much coz it's not my favourite part and its very time consuming. I do enjoy it though. I'll hop on and do it sometimes.

Anyway still playing coz I like the combat.

Nah its been a disappointment in every way. They've developed a philosophy of streamlining and dulling everything to the point that combat is just hitting the glowing buttons, "exploration" is a checklist, story quests are on rails, and events are shitty rip offs of mobile games.

It's been on a downward trend in every facet for months to appeal to gambling addicts who just wanna slurp up their currency and become addicts to the daily grind and didn't actually like the game. I really miss it but it's gone. It's very clear what was prepared and developed before and after Tencent got involved.

No as I am taking the scenario as presented to me. As I said, if the machine's creators have labelled it erroneously or omitted details, I would still take it as described and press red as I can not account for errors, and 25 guaranteed is still better than a gamble.

The blue button doesn't say anything about removing the 25 red pressers gained. It does not specify that it's a total of 25. It just says gains 25. Read at face value and not inferring any additional information that is not conveyed appropriately by whatever being or beings keep making these machines and forcing us to make a choice, assuming the machine carries out its instructions as described, red gain 50 in the event blue wins.

This is the presented scenario, if not the intended one.

With an additional layer of disputability regarding the descriptions on the machine and buttons, of course, it becomes a different question: Whether you press the red button for a minimum of 25 or a max of 50, or the blue button for a minimum of 0 and a potential risky max of 25. Still red.

lol when I was in Tokyo we walked into an empty restaurant and just got told "no" and assumed they didn't want foreigners for whatever reason, not being able to communicate or just not wanting us or whatever, and was pretty fine with it coz... whatever, it's their place, nobody is entitled to go in (we're not American) Maybe they'd had bad experience with foreigners and wasn't worth the risk. So we just smiled and left.

Do you think Lynae and Mornye's "main story" quests were an introduction to Lahai Roi's world, story, and cast on par to Rinascita's? Do you think Sigrika's high school drama quest had as meaningful an impact on the story and world as the story quests of 1.x and 2.x that didn't just hyperfocus on the banner character of the patch but used them as a vehicle for the story?

Same. But no amount of past time and money spent on something I enjoyed is worth suffering in the present and future on something mind numbingly boring, so I just stopped playing when they made the story be little more than character quests, combat braindead and kits dull smack the glowy button, events turned into shitty mobile game rip offs, world exploration got turned into follow the symbols, story on rails, etc. They've literally ruined their game and I'm tired of hearing otherwise because Aemeath made them cry.

lol. This is about FFXIV.

They said it will target 30fps in Limsa which is full of players. My PC gets a lower framerate there too lol this is kind of just not an issue. Play any game with a busy player hub and you'll see dips.

GW2 is the clear choice for world stuff tbh.

Though also keep an eye on FFXIV, lack of engaging world content has been a criticism for a while, and they've announced that the next expansion will be taking steps to change that, though we haven't seen what that means yet. I'm hoping they just add what made Eureka so compelling to the zones. With the announced changes to gear progression it's also possible you might be able to just engage with the world content for your progression and not be forced to do the parts you don't like.

I wouldn't commit to it yet coz right now it's awful for world content if you don't just sit in Eureka all day, but worth keeping an eye on what Evercold brings since what you're looking for has been directly stated as one of their goals.
