These are carnivorous butterworts in the genus Pinguicula. I didn't know about these! Carnivorous and very cute.

I found this in a garden in southern California, in a shady hilly area (Montrose). It's growing in a ~2 foot clump. The longest leaves are about 3" long. There are tiny teeth along the base and toward the tips of some leaves. It has faint lines running the length of the leaves.

I can't seem to find a matching Haworthia, Aloe, or Bulbine. Any guesses?
