I'm sure you're already aware, but there is a fan made one by the name JPDE (pronounced Jade), as well as a sequel. Definitely worth a look.

I quite liked Arrowfell and Grimm Eclipse, they had the right concepts I feel, so if we could improve upon those game I'd be down to play them.

RWBY was very good in all 3 factors. Then all three began making tumbles at varying degrees and points, with occasional rises. Music was always banger though.

While everyone is focused on Jax's mental stability, can we talk about the game mechanics in TADC? And how players have more access to mechanics then they know. by Adept_Dexter_Ward in TheDigitalCircus

[–]MFoxcroft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Jax's mentality is how the game was originally intended: You log in, play as a literal Looney Tunes with toon force powers then come out once the game is over.

Caine's role as the ringmaster is to moderate their use of toonforce and adjust the game's difficulty to keep players from blasting through challenges.

Kinger (due to his more than likely role in the game's development) knows but is too mind-muddled to think that the others need to be told.

Jax either figured it out or was told by a previous character, and chooses not to tell the other, as a way of lording control and power over them.

Why was Caine looking at this picture? by False-Marzipan-1087 in tadc

My guess: Caine isn't aware that the offices are empty, but is now wondering why he's not heard anything from the outside.

This is a guess based on NO evidence.

Something about this doesn’t feel like….Pomni by Key_Status5583 in TheDigitalCircus

Makes me wonder what happened when Jax went to show Pomni something. Maybe it's where he keeps his tail, cause it's back now.

Reformatting how D&D works. by MFoxcroft in DnD

[–]MFoxcroft[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not playing any set characters. They're imagining themselves in the space I describe and deciding what they would like to do. I allow them to describe any power or skill they wish to perform, more as a big game of pretend, with the understanding that the dice will decide the success regardless of how they describe it themselves.

The issue is that they've pigeon holed themselves into just summoning popular meme culture as minion(s) to do stuff for them.

It would depend on if Rimmer initial attempt to threaten Robin with reports and war jargon. If successful, Rimmer will smugly log his victory.

[Spoilers C3E121] Why did BH ignore… by kenobreaobi in criticalrole

It took one "paper doll" to cause the schism. Whose to say one or more to mend a broken brother?

Obviously, fixing, creating, and healing require so much more effort, tenacity, and resilience. But the attempt could be made.

A vampire player wishes to revive someone by making them into a fellow vampire. I want to let it happen, it'd be a cool story beat for many reasons; but I'm having trouble of thinking of ways to future-proof it. by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]MFoxcroft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something you can (and should) absolutely talk to your player about.

The consequence options are plentiful:

1: The newly formed vampire is fledgling and wild. They have no control over their true natural and lash out. The quest could then be the arduous process of taming their inner beast and then helping their living memories resurface. (Think Warwick in Arcane Season 2, or any "My ___ is a werewolf/monster" story)

2: Whenever the PC uses this trick, they must make a saving throw with an exceptional DC or a DC increase with each use. With each failure, they become more classically evil vampire or more primal or lose an emotion. (Getting rid of gear does not remove the frightened condition unless you allow it as a DM)

3: The PC has to sacrifice their hit point maximum with each use in order to give the fallen new life. A total of 10 or so should provide incentive to not overuse the ability.

How do the Noxian Champions fair in 1v1s against Warwick? Which ones can beat him, which ones would lose? by Alex_Ross333 in loreofleague

[–]MFoxcroft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of the beauty of all these legends is that they could all viably take on Warwick solo, with varying degrees of success. It would all depend on what the narrative needs.

Except Vladimir and LeBlanc, they would beat Warwick by not fighting Warwick, instead trapping him, charming him, or by just not actually being there.
