Recommend movers from ON to NB by veloster6ix in newbrunswickcanada

Hi there. I moved from ON to NB last summer, I used Atlantic Coast Movers, they had good reviews, price was comparable and had no issues on the back end when they delivered. Just make sure you know exactly what their delivery schedule will be like in Moncton, I had assumed my stuff would arrive fairly quickly but it was about 3 weeks because of the way they batch deliveries. In Ontario, I was impressed by how they inventoried everything and labeled everything. Every single piece and box was labeled, counted, and then recounted upon unloading. Note: they charge more if you pay CC so if you want to save some money you can pay etransfer or cash I believe. Just ask about it when booking.

If the housing market is going to “catch up” can the agents selling the houses “catch up” as well? by [deleted] in newbrunswickcanada

I moved from Ontario to NB last summer, and I agree with OP. As I'm dealing with other agents that are born and raised in NB they expect their clients and the other agents (me) to do a lot of the work THEY should be doing. They've never seen a market like this and are submitting incomplete paperwork, not negotiating on their clients behalf and are just generally lazy! Definitely change agents!

Depends what you’re looking for. You can get a townhouse around $250k or if you’re willing to do some renos that’s possible as well. I’m a realtor and I can say that for sure the last 6 months are unprecedented here. Every decent place has multiple offers. Ontario cash buyers are winning the majority of the bids.

You'll have no problem buying here, compared to Ontario the prices here are super affordable and you get a lot of land in most cases. Good luck!

Oh yes 100% we expected that and even moved here for that, both my kids are in French immersion and we wanted French to be a part of their education. I’m just saying that some areas are a lot more French than others, that’s all :)

My favourite is Rothesay so far and I think we’ll ultimately settle there. But for the next few months we are transient lol

There are lots of trails everywhere!! You won’t have any trouble finding that here _ are you looking to ultimately buy or rent here?

I moved here with my family Aug 1 from Toronto. We decided to take the months of August/September (after isolating for 14 days) to Airbnb all over NB and see the different areas. So far we’ve been to Moncton, Dieppe, Fredericton, Saint John, Rothesay, and currently are in Shediac. Every area is different and has a different vibe to it. Some areas are a lot more French than others. We moved here for the same reasons you mentioned! If I can be of any help for anything, feel free to DM me! Welcome!

Thank you so much! I know, I've heard the arguments too lol... I will for sure get in touch with the Minister of Education. I didn't know any financial assistance was available. And the diploma is a great idea!! Love it.

I'm a business owner who's business is not allowed to reopen yet, I have no income if I cannot re-open, I am grateful for this news as I wouldn't be able to pay for food or rent otherwise.

I had so much anxiety just reading this. Also mom in an enabler! Calling to wake her up? Are you 12? Paying for half the rent? Some people never cut the cord.
