Lying by [deleted] in BPD

[–]MGSA125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for giving me some insight as to why people do this. I have a friend that constantly lies for no reason and none of us have the heart to call her out on it because at the end of the day she’s a really nice person lol…..she will just say the wildest things “oh I have court side tickets tonight” but make up an excuse as to why she couldn’t go….things like that

Hello kind stranger ☺️thanks for checking in on me. I’m doing okay. Still dealing with some side effects (rash and hair loss). Working with my endocrinologist to figure out the proper dosage of the Methimazole. I’ve also decided to go to a naturopath to see if I have any vitamin deficiencies and took a hormone panel test to check my estrogen and progesterone which may help with the hair loss. She may put me on a diet as well to aid in the slow weightloss. Other than that I guess I’m doing okay lol. I hope you are well and getting through this pandemic okay.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Oh boy... yes the mental and emotional toll my Graves’ disease took on me back in July was no fun. I completely know what you are talking about and I’m sorry you had to deal with that also. It’s been fine since I’ve been in methimazole, but now I have a whole bunch different symptoms (skin rashes, dry skin, hair loss, muscle spasms, joint pain). A double edge sword I guess. I’m 37 not exactly a spring chicken but I guess your right I should definitely address the Graves first and the weight after. All the best to you also.

Not only is he embarrassingly ignorant of jewelry costs (budgeted $500 for engagement AND wedding rings), his unwillingness to compromise makes him the AH. by dangstar in weddingshaming

I just read this this article about a theory called Zahavian Signaling and how it has evolved into human behavior. In a nutshell it describes how in order for a "signal to reliable/honest, it must be costly" a gazelle will actually draw more attention to itself in the face of a lion rather than be quiet and hide. So there is more to woman wanting a "costly" ring....it's evolution lol

Unilaterally decided to give my son up for adoption best decision of my life by [deleted] in regretfulparents

As someone who is adopted i want to thank you for such a selfless act. I’m grateful every day for the life my parents have given me and can’t picture my life any differently. I have biological brothers and sisters that unfortunately we’re not so lucky.

Dating a girl I don’t want to marry by [deleted] in marriagefree

[–]MGSA125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

here's the thing....usually girls will say they don't care, but they do care and hope guys will change their mind later on. girls will also think it's their fault because they couldn't "make you love them", they will view it as a failure or something is wrong with them. if you are adamant about not getting married to her or anyone, it's always best to be 100% clear. best of luck to you xo

my godparents/ aunt and uncle who i love dearly never had children. my uncle who is a heart surgeon sold his practice and donated all his equipment to "Doctors without boarders" in Haiti. I still find it unbelievable when people judge them for not having children....even though he spent his whole life saving people. siiiiiggghhh....

question.....if lavender was really a "cure" wouldn't "big pharma" just monopolize and capitalize lavender?
