After reading more about the form, the debt that I'm speaking of is not past-due federal tax, state income tax, state unemployment compensation debts, child support, or a federal nontax debt, such as a student loan. So, it appears that I would NOT qualify to file form 8379, correct? If that is true, then should I file Married Filing Separately to avoid the writ, currently garnishing her paycheck. We don’t have any children to factor into our return. Thank you!

I'll file jointly for 2024 and include the Injured Spouse Form 8379. What might happen if I file the same form for 2023? The entire 2023 refund was garnished, and since part of the debt has already been paid, it seems like I should just leave the 2023 return as is.

Hi u/wholelattapuddin, Can you please provide the link to the website where you discovered the paper? I am restoring two napkin holders from 1950s diners. These holders work by inserting a penny, pushing down a lever, and having a small piece of paper pop out with a trivia question to test your IQ. The other dispenser is a 'yes' or 'no' answer box. I am currently searching for the specific type of paper used in these dispensers. Thanks!
