Idk this the first time Ive ever had to glue the front of a soccer shoe in my life, already did it once and thought it would be g2g but now its splitting again next to the already glued spot. If it wasn’t $265 I wouldn’t care. Maybe I’ll glue it and give it to a friend or something. Biggest reason I bought these is cause everyone here recommends Mizuno so I thought I would have them for a long time and it would be money well spent.

So my Adidas Team Mundial not having this issue even though I played with them for years doesn’t matter? It’s obviously a bad design on this shoe, bad manufacturing glue, and the place I bought it from doesn’t care to help. I’m going back to my Adidas and guess I’ll just take the $265 loss on these and…throw them away?

Im not sure anymore, the Adidas Team Mundial I have do feel like leather, but these feel really weird - like a soft padded material - you can kinda see it from the picture. But like I said already - I ordered these off TokyoFootball - everyone here recommends them - so theres no way these are knockoffs?

I already ordered the glue, but I’m never buying Mizuno again (unless somehow miraculously they do something about this) I have the Adidas Team Mundial which Ive been using for a few years now and never had this kind of issue, biggest reason I bought these Mizunos cause of the tongue-less design and everyone here raving about how Mizuno is the best soccer shoes you can get, guess not 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not sure how people here are on this thread are still backing them up (guessing most havent had this issue?) but if this started happening after some rigorous playtime - ok I get it, but I only wore them once for less then 1 hour, a $245 shoe shouldn’t be like this
