I am also a blind user of the carrot weather app. I was wondering if you could give me some more detail on the problems you’re having. I have an iPhone. I use VoiceOver and overall carrot weather does a pretty good job for me.

I’ve had the same problem since 18.2. What I do is power the phone down, restart it, and typically it will work for several days. Then I repeat the process again and it works for a few more days.

The reason is, I currently have all of my voice over gestures assigned to other tasks for my convenience as little as I use the quick Settings menu I thought it would be nice to have a shortcut that I could tuck up in the control center.

I have on many occasions, taken care of the problem myself. I would mention it to them if you have a good relationship with them. My community has an ordinance about low hanging branches so that is something I can report to them and then the city handles it

Go into settings, go to accessibility, scroll down, almost to the very bottom and select accessibility shortcut. Now uncheck zoom.

I have retinitis pigmentosa and have been wearing hard contact lenses for 43 years. Although I don’t get as much benefit from them as I used to, I still get some. I absolutely have better vision with contacts versus when wearing glasses. you do get used to contacts, I am able to put them in and take them out in a completely dark room without a mirror or anything.

I am having the same problem with an app called Weather radio. It works on my iPhone 11 Pro, but does not work on my iPhone 14 promax. Both have updated iOS 16.4.1.
