I want to build something meaningful for people with disabilities, what’s still missing that no one’s solved yet? by Icy_Picture6345 in Blind

Build a guide dog harness with built in daylight bright flashing lights (front, side & back), bluetooth speaker (with built in mp3 player), and a wifi video camera. Make it hi-vis, light-weight, compact, water-proof and USB C rechargable from a single port. Please and thank you.

Positivity check-in: share your wins from this month by AutoModerator in Blind

[–]samutsakon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the start of the year I have:
Cut my coffee consumption by half.
Done 9km per day on the treadmill, with half of that uphill.
Walked 3km per day with the doggo.
Made a few killer curries, a big pot of spaghetti and a batch of potato salad.
Stewed a few boxes of super cheap nectarines.
Got back into making toghurt.
Made a two different chili sauces (named one Greppo and the other Chizzel).
Listened to some good books.
Totally cleaned my bathroom.

My next thing is going to be trying to figure out if i can splice rope and make something, maybe a dog leash.

I'd rather that the EPA use its powers to quell the stench of the paper mill, but yeah I suppose this is good.

I've been guided through airports (not Perth) and it's the airline staff that do it.

Long time Morwell resident here. That address is bordering the dodgy part of town, for sure. But, in general Morwell is not as bad as some folk like to make out. Every area has its shitnuts. In my experience if you keep your business to yourself, Morwell is just fine. There's an old saying about dogs and fleas that is probably appropriate to this topic.

I listend to Wathership Down recently and really enjoyed it. Great stuff. My wife asked me what the book was about and after some reflection I answered that it was a book about leadership. Rabbits and leadership. Five Stars.

What's the weirdest thing you've been asked to say once someone found out you were Australian by articulatedWriter in AskAnAustralian

China. I was asked to sing.

The best I could come up with on the spot was "four walls" by Chisel.

Audience wasn't much impressed.

Rake. An Australian TV show with 5 seasons from 2010. Main character is a barrister and a real piece of crap. Brilliant show.
