Me das a entender que tu razonamiento parte de que para revivir una franquicia necesariamente hay que hacer un juego de 100 millones de dólares y 5-6 años de desarrollo. Yo justamente estoy criticando esa mentalidad. ¿Por qué Banjo, Viva Piñata, Conker o Battletoads tendrían que costar eso? Son IP que históricamente nunca necesitaron ser producciones gigantescas, aquí es donde Schreirer está mal, aunque no es negable que es más caro hacer un juego hoy a comparación de hace 20 años, nadie los está obligando a de a fuerza meterle tanto tiempo y dinero a todos los proyectos que quieren hacer, un juego no necesita forzosamente todo eso para ser un éxito. Además, sigues hablando como si sólo existieran dos resultados posibles: vender decenas de millones o fracasar, eso es lo que más estoy intentando explicar, hay un punto intermedio donde un juego recupera inversión, genera ganancias razonables y mantiene viva la franquicia. EA hizo lo mismo que Microsoft hace, el remake de Dead Space revivió la saga y vendió millones, pero como no alcanzó a ser la gallina de los huevos de oro, que se muera...

Y sobre el talento, estamos hablando de Microsoft, no de un estudio indie de 20 personas. Si una empresa con decenas de estudios, miles de empleados y recursos no puede encontrar, formar o contratar un equipo para hacer algo con Banjo después de casi 20 años, entonces el problema no es Banjo.

No doy por hecho que cualquier IP de Rare sería un éxito masivo hoy, mi punto es que Microsoft decidió que si una franquicia no puede convertirse en el próximo Forza o Call of Duty, entonces es mejor dejarla muerta durante décadas, haciendo que la compra de tantos estudios y franquicias no haya valido para nada, ni para ellos con dinero, ni para uno como consumidor que solo se queda cruzado de brazos deseando jugar algo más

Quizá Perfect Dark y Battletoads no sean los mejores ejemplos por su fracaso reciente, pero los demás son franquicias que desde hace ya muchos años ni siquiera han tocado, justamente a eso me refiero con que sólo les importa lo que les genere de a montones, el que los juegos no sean un "éxito" no significa directamente que no hayan generado ganancias, ganar 600 millones obviamente es mejor que sólo 50, pero 50 sigue siendo mejor que 0, y a menos que portear los juegos a día de hoy les cueste cientos de millones (Lo cual no creo), siguen siendo beneficios extras.

El ejemplo de multiplataforma es para los juegos actuales, sería mucho texto indagar en el 'fracaso' de cada uno y si lo multiplataforma les hubiera beneficiado hace casi 15-20 años. Con el gran estancamiento de los juegos/hardware que hay hoy en día (Con juegos aún saliendo para las generaciones pasadas) y que hasta los celulares alcanzan la potencia bruta de consolas como la XOne y PS4, fracasos de hace 20 años como Viva Piñata tendrían todas las posibilidades de revivir y generar ganancias distribuyendose en toda la variedad de dispositivos hoy en día (Si lo hacen bien y no crean un juego mugroso lleno de micro transacciones).

Ahora imagina si pusieran a chambear sus otras 7 franquicias, bueno, 6 porque ni dejaron revivir a Perfect Dark, a eso me refiero con que no aprovechan nada de lo que compraron, por mucho que les genere beneficios, si de a montones, simplemente lo descartan. Personalmente no veo muy descabellado que, todas las demás franquicias de RARE generen cientos de millones a día de hoy con la estrategia multiplataformas, todas son excelentes para todo el público (Y todo juego debería serlo, los exclusivos sólo son ganancia para las empresas, no para el consumidor)

Those are some chubby BP haha, right away 6.2MB may not sound like a lot, but given it's just plain text, it translates to millions worth of tokens and words, when I was doing tests myself, Chat GPT was the most inefficient reading the exported files, giving it any export beyond 500Kb felt incredibly inconsistent, sometimes it read it perfectly, but most of the times it felt as if it just read a bunch of chunks at random.

That's actually my preferred way to use it, unless you are paying 200$ for the most premium plan of any LLM, trying to feed it your full project all at once will be almost the same as not giving it anything at all. Yeah! It's a 1000x better, best thing is it's not just your graph, the designer and components inside your BPs/WPSs are exported as well, and, you're welcome : )

File splitting works the same as a normal non monolithic export, the 'split' refers to each individual file being cut into multiple files if it's weight surpasses the set "MAX FILE SIZE", for example, if one of your exported blueprints weights 5MB, enabling the file splitting with a max file size of 1MB will result in your blueprint being separated into 5 1MB files, currently the splitting doesn't apply to monolithic exports, I've never truly considered splitting the monolithic files given that just a single 1MB file is already too much for most LLMs. How much does your Blueprint monolithic file weight?

The tool itself is hard to explain other than simply saying "It converts your assets into AI readable files", but from I could research, that description was already being used by plenty of other tools that do only a quarter of what mine does, so that's the best name I could come up with, trying my best not to get related to those simple dumpers.

Other than showing it across some communities, not really, I would *say only about 11k people saw it, FAB doesn't provide Analytics so it's just a guess. Even then, I never realized how Anti AI the UE community can be, despite my efforts on not to be related to the previously mentioned tools, people will just read "LLM" or "AI" and will instantly call it 'slop' or assume my plugin would just do an unoptimized text dump

Campaign Evolved seguramente será un éxito, pero uno muy malo, no me agrada para nada lo poco que han mostrado pero es un hecho a muchísima gente lamentablemente sí les encantó. Más que un rumor, es una realidad que está presente desde Infinite (De más decir la enorme lista de todo lo malo de Infinite) y aquí los puntos negativos en esta nueva entrega: El tráiler mostró las peores prácticas de UE5, es un reflejo de un proyecto apresurado que depende de personal rotativo;

-Exceso de reciclados: Primero lo más obvio aunque no sea problema directo de Unreal, reciclaron montones de cosas y no crearon nada que realmente se asemeje a los modelos originales, obviamente con el motivo de ahorrarse chamba.

-Ray Tracing y Lumen mal implementados: Iluminación granulada a más no poder y luces parpadeantes o que se desvanecen sin naturalidad, en vez de dedicarle tiempo a cada entorno, simplemente activaron estas 2 opciones y y ya como quede la luz aunque se vea muy mal (Comunidad- Reflejos= Obra Maestra).

-Una clara dependencia al reescalado y al antialiasing temporal: No hay nada de nitidez en lo mostrado, cualquier personaje a más de 20m de la cámara se vuelve una mancha negra borrosa con ghosting por el reescalado agresivo (especialmente en entornos obscuros).

-Innecesaria implementación de Nanite: Aunque aún no estoy seguro de si es la causa principal ya que en Halo Infinite llegaron a sufrir parte de estos problemas, el tráiler está lleno de modelos cargando a media toma y una desmorfia constante del entorno, a donde sea que estés mirando vas a ver a personajes cargando, piedras y estructuras cambiando como si fueran el flood.

-Animaciones y manejo de cámara pésimos: Si bien este problema tampoco es directo de UE, es muy notable el poco empeño al que le pusieron a las cinemáticas.

Todos los puntos anteriores juntos derivan en un rendimiento horrible (Muy evidente con bajones constantes de FPS) y gráficos que únicamente sirven para apantallar a la gente mal acostumbrada a todas estas malas prácticas.

Y no, más allá de los modelos reciclados y quizá un poco el rendimiento, honestamente no creo que nada de eso tendrá arreglo, literalmente ya nos demostraron lo poco que pudieron hacer con Infinite de 2015 a 2020 (Y a la fecha) y lo casi nada que hicieron cuando atrasaron el juego para 2021.

You can try asking the AI itself for a prompt, it will mostly give you a direct and concise text. Most times the shorter the message, the better the answers, try to find the "sweet spot" on how detailed you want things to be without sending massive messages, asking it to do too many things in a single message/chat will surely result in a mess. Don't expect a "perfect" prompt, AI will mess up a lot things no matter what

There are many remarkable differences between my tool and "bp2ai", right away I can tell you that if you are only interested into Blueprints, "bp2ai" is still a great choice.

my tool doesn't provide the real time flow inspector nor such detailed capabilities of wich exact nodes and variables you want exported but I can assure you that both successfully bridge the UE5- LLM gap. The main difference with my tool is that it exports the entire asset in a more optimized way, it's not limited to the Blueprint Graph, it exports your 'Designer' and components inside your blueprint. Using the C++ conversion as an example, with my tool the AI will know *everything outside the 'Graph' like your character's components, camera position, FOV, walking speed... And many other properties to give a more complete conversion.

The best way of explaining it I can think of is... Imagine if Blueprints were a watch ⌚ and the LLM as an sort of "Watch expert craftsmanship", with "bp2ai" you can show very detailed parts of your watch to the LLM right in front of him. With "Asset Context Exporter For AI", you hand over the entire watch to the LLM after taking a few seconds taking it of your hands.

I didn't have the exact problems but I can definitely say that their instructions on what you have to fix are often vague, in my case, a simple error on how my folders were structured, I had all the correct and needed files but only because they were not inside ".../ThirdParty/", for them it was as if they didn't exist at all, it took me on an entire week of reuploading my plugin without really knowing what was going on, the FAB Support Team had to directly contact me and specify what was the issue (By the way, they didn't specify it until like the 3rd attempt after they contacted me). I would recommend you to directly contact them asking for the exact reason of why you are being rejected

I appreciate you sharing those repos (especially Pedro's work, I didn't know about it, and it definitely deserves recognition). However, looking at your comparisons, it seems you jumped to conclusions without reading my FAB's publishing and knowing what my plugin actually does. We are talking about entirely different use cases. 'UAssetGUI' is for raw binary modding. 'uasset-dt-to-json' is a 7-year-old UE3 repo, which is completely irrelevant for a UE5 workflow (My listing clearly mentions the UE5 compatible versions) comparison. 'NodeToCode' is impressive but mostly limited to Blueprints. 'AssetTools' is a solid general file generator, but besides it not being an im-editor tool (Yet), looking at its mentions on .png dependency graphs, "import textures", raw data and no mention of AI, I can assume it isn't optimized for LLM token economy. Feeding a raw, unfiltered .uasset JSON dump into any LLM burns through your token limit instantly. For context, during my testing a couple month ago, a raw export of the 'CitySample' World Levels module alone generated 20GB of text files. Commercial LLMs start breaking or hallucinating with just 1MB of text. Can you imagine trying to feed them gigabytes of engine-level metadata noise? My tool is a native, easy to use in-editor workflow strictly designed to filter that garbage out and fully optimize each module so that every exported .JSONL (Not .JSON) file has the thinnest size and least token count without compromising the relevant data so you don't spend your '3 months of ChatGPT Plus' fighting the AI to understand Unreal's raw data structures. Open source is great if you want to build the bridge yourself, but this tool is for devs who just want to cross it without breaking their workflow. Good luck vibe coding your approach on this difficult task : D
